Well, I suppose my name is not that hard to guess, since it's right above the charming picture of me on the left.

Still, for some reason I feel the need to say: "Hallo", and introduce myself. Don't let the title of the thread misguide you, I do not suffer from a strong feeling of sympathy for the Devil, or for the Rolling Stones for that matter, but this particular song does have a few verses that I can relate to, so I thought that the following is as good an introduction as any:

Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

So if you meet me
Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, have some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse
Or I'll lay your soul to waste

I think this one might be one of the mutant Serbians.

Is a mass genocide with added quarantine in order?

Ah, grand, I was getting oh so bored.

Yes I'm from Serbia, and no, they don't teach English here, luckily I still have a NATO pilot locked up in the basement, from the last time we were bombarded by the forces of the free and democratic world, so he translates for me, and I give him an extra can of cat food a week in exchange.

Excellent. Well, I don't suppose you also have some shrapnel picked up from a njiva near Kosovo or a piece of a crashed airplane? That would be awesome to have. A live NATO pilot is a considerable feat too though.

Ah, one of the many joys of being Serbian - the incredible capacity to create enemies and engage in warfare and slaughter where ever you roam.

Rejoice, young Irishman, your days of boredom are over.

I declare war.

No shrapnels, sorry, after a while you give up on the sentimentalities, I only keep the practical souvenirs of our many wars (a bullet on my key chain, an army knife in my backpack, a ground to air grande shell as an umbrella holder and of course young Charles A. Lindbergh here to translate and move my furniture when necessary)

P.S. Odakle ti znas sta je njiva sunce ti tvoje?

Whoa, take it easy, first declare war, then I can take you in as a war prisoner, otherwise if you come to Serbia, we will either like you and then make you drink till you pass out and hug and feed you too death, or simply beat you to death because we don't like you - if we are not at war it's perfectly fine to kill - No War - No Geneva Convention

i was on vacation in Serbia, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Germany in 2007. Beautiful countryside, but the cities are a bit lacking outside of Bratislava, Vienna, and Budapest.

I've lost the ability to get genuinely excited about European cities quite a few years ago.
Now I mostly enjoy the mountains and the sea.

If I want to see a city that amazes me, I try to go to Africa or Asia.

Hehe, the craters are mostly made by the Serbs or Montenegrians.

P.S. It's ok for me to laugh about this, since I'm part Serbian, part Croatian, lived in Montenegro for a while, and was in a city that was under enemy fire more than once in my life. Sometimes my right arm feels a dire need to chop off the left one - being a mixed ex-Yugoslav is great fun

Anyway, welcome.

[ I should say that as a legitimist I only regard the Obrenović's as rightful Kings, and the others... as no better than miserable Windsor-type imitations or commie thugs; however I don't think any were left alive after Alexander and Draga were slaughtered by the brave boys of the army. ]

Thank you for the welcome, however as a person who believes that the biggest problem with the Anarchistic movement is the fact that, sooner or later, a leader is bound to emerge from it, I would have to say that I believe that the Obrenović's were just as bad as any other scourge that roamed this land (Vlastimirovići, Nemanjići, Osmanlije, Karađorđevići, Obrenovići, Karađorđevići, Obrenovići, Karađorđevići, Pašići, Brozovi, Miloševići, Đinđići, Tadići and all the other ići out there)

Fortunately our leaders have a long tradition of suffering from severe hallucinations, venereal diseases (this is mostly true for Montenegrin rulers to say the whole truth), mixed emotions towards both their allies and enemies, and an overall sense of disorientation and hyperactivity that can only be explained as being caused by uncontrolled use of controlled substances, and therefore living under the rule of a Serbian government resembles living in anarchy as much as it is possible in this day and age.

This truly is a great country

Please, we are not barbarians, we would never feed a cat to a cat, or a dog to a dog.

We put cats in dog food and dogs in cat food, as we think being devoured by your mortal enemy is a worthy death.

We put tourists in both, because no one likes them.

Thank you for the welcome, there seems to be quite a bit of color shining form it, though.
I hope you take your crayons back soon, if you do, please send me a pretty picture.
