Since it's leave, I didn't actually need to leave, so I paid for the whole trip.

Six months. She was born two days after I got to Korea.

3 weeks of smiling and making funny faces... Nice. The facial-muscle workout would do good, I'd be frowning constantly if I were part of the... US army, or any army for that matter.

Government slave-slave, that's twice as much the slave of that of an ordinary citizen... Blah.

So tell us about your daughter!

She has a curly fro, the brightest, widest blue eyes, and a smile that will make you explode! She loves water. Bath time is her favorite time of day, and she screams after she's out of the bath until her clothes are on. She reaches for your glass of water and drinks from it pretty well (with assistance), and puts her hand in the stream of water when you're drinking from a fountain or washing your hands. She likes pickles and sweet potatoes. For whatever reason, she loves the dog, and smiles or giggles at him whenever she sees him. She kicks her legs and giggles when she's about to get fed, and when she falls asleep next to me, she rolls into my armpit and cuddles (I'd choose a different place, but I don't control her rolling).

She's the sweetest thing on Earth. Now that I'm back in Korea, I just want to eat and shit and sleep until I can get back, allowing the months to just roll by without noticing.
