Kinsey Scale Test

The Kinsey Scale is a method or rating sexual orientation beyond just hetero/homo/bi. It was originally just a self report variable, but people have been making tests out of it for a while. No good ones so far, but I recently found this.

Its results were accurate for me, are they for you?

they're bound to be accurate since the questions are pretty straightforward. i don't think the test could tell you anything you don't already know. and i don't think the test would be accurate for someone who is in denial about where they sit.

I really didn't try to break it on purpose. Apparently they don't consider "Straight but open minded" a profile. I call myself straight because I am generally attracted more often to members of the opposite gender orientation however I am more than willing to try another gender if I found the right person. I find individuals of all genders attractive under certain circumstances.

But the facts are that I've had more heterosexual sex then homosexual sex. Maybe twice as much. I think that my gayness is more of a fantasy, something I wish, but it's not quite real.

Err, where is the link for the test? It sounds very reliant on self-report, in that it won't give you an answer you would not have come up with yourself. I'm a non-committed heterosexual if anyone's interested (I hope not :P). I could be bi, I just haven't met an attractive enough man yet.

F... Y'know, I don't think this test was programmed very well.

For the record, I consider myself straight, because that's what I'm attracted to, but I'm not repulsed or anything by guys, they just simply don't attract me. And I feasibly could get pleasure from a guy, just through basic physiology, and endorphin responses, but I wouldn't be attracted to him.

I got X, despite not even always answering asexually. I suppose I answered that way enough to get the category. Retook it after reconsidering some of the answers, and got F. So X or F.

I did answer with the understanding that (1) I wouldn't really know, and (2) then that what I may think or feel "theoretically" very rarely translates into how reality is, de facto, and yet I forever rely on the theoretical and refuse to make assumptions when there is no data.

Maybe I overthink these things. Which is why, given that it's not really very interesting or crucial, I might as well just go with asexual.

What did you answer to "I can not decide what sex I am attracted to more." I found that when I answered false for that I would get F. And also for "I wouldn't want to die without having experimented sexually with both men and women".

Anyway, I got 3. But I'm more 2.

asexual is my default setting. right after nervous.

test says 1: predominantly hetero

in real life, i am at least 98% hetero, but i'm really relaxed about taking other perspectives in my mind. i'm not attracted to men, as a whole, though. infact, i have a tendency to hate men. bro type men.

but i like to identify, in my imagination, with some rare male individuals, and feel sexy while doing so (as they would, when they look in the mirror, just ask justin timberlake) - to compensate that i can't feel so sexy in my own body. the only men who are ever attractive to me, are the very few who look exactly like women (and behave equally). i'm basically straight, with a surplus of imagination, empathy, mirror neurons ... virtual stuff.
