INTP clumsiness

I am pretty sure this is an INTP trait. I know that I myself am especially clumsy. I often spill things, drop things, knock things over, run into things, etc.
I think this is due to two pairing factors INTPS share- disorganization of objects and aloofness to surroundings. Because our environments are rather chaotic, there is a higher chance of accidents, that would require more awareness to surroundings to more skillfully maneuver around such obstructions. However, INTPs have the tendency to be in their own heads making them less aware of their immediate surroundings. Therefore, clumsiness.

I guess I'm clumsy with ordinary things, I've noticed it since a young age.

Not to an exceptional degree though. I'm not that accident-prone nerdy/geeky person that shows and films attempt to portray(and caricaturize). My sensory calibration with reality and attentiveness is just a bit off that I commit small forgettable and transient(and sometimes humorous) mistakes.

Yet when something to me is very important I can demonstrate excellent mental and physical carefulness.

Yes, when it is important.

I'm clumsy sometimes but I usually play it off or bring something up to get my clumsiness out of the spotlight.

I was more clumsy as a child though not spectacularly, but clumsiness is something I detest and I've managed to train myself over the years to have good spatial awareness even whilst I am daydreaming.

In jobs I've done in the past, I've done certain tasks with no problems at all but been told that most people who had done it before me had broken something at least once.

I'm infamous in some of my circles (not the google ones) for being particularly clumsy. I don't mind it too much. There is something genuinely human in clumsiness:)

Maybe it has something to do with ballet I took for 10 years, but I'm usually not all too clumsy. Key word being usually.......

I am particularly clumsy when I lose touch with the world. Everything blurs and I don't really know what's going on for a while.

Well, at times when I am more connected with my environment I am less clumsy. However this is often not the case, and in times of spaciness I will half-mindedly attempt to navigate and manipulate objects which often fail my grasp. I'm not sure if its visual spatial skills or fine motor functions that are being tested, but I would say it has more to do with fine motor as I am less prone to knocking into things and more prone to causing damage via hands. (I know as a child I was more likely to knock into things, but not so much anymore).

I have... uhhh... let's just say "difficulty" balancing sometimes, and I do seem to be more clumsy than average. For instance, I've broken at least a dozen glasses in the past couple of years, and a week doesn't pass that I don't spill something, to the point where it's kind of a running joke in my family...

I'm only clumsy when I'm spaced out which only happens when the topic, person or event at hand is boring

I'm always a little clumsy and purposely avoid putting it on display, i.e. if someone throws something expecting me to catch it, I step aside and let it hit the ground. Having a hillbilly uncle as a babysitter who enjoyed playing with knives in airborne form probably contributes to this phenomenon.

I really love my clumsiness. Life would be extremely boring without it. Whenever I am in an unfamiliar environment really strange things happen to me, because I am to fixed on finding the right way or if I'm just daydreaming.
Whenever it happens I laugh myself to death inside my head.

Just last night, I'd been thinking while leaning on the back of a chair, rocking sort of.

Long story short, I hadn't know I was falling until I hit the lamp in front of me, which doubles as a glass table. My first concern was the lamp (it's broken, by the way). :o

I have not experienced this, I tend to be fairly coordinated.

;)

Some people may say it should be like that, but what if it would be like more tired= less clumsy:).

True.

Would that also mean tired = more concentrated? If that's the case I'm sold. I could do with some nightly concentration since I don't get anything done during the day :D

I was exceedingly clumsy as a child ( had to be taken for "special" lessons). But, as I grew older, I found ,when playing sport, so long as I had nothing else to think about when playing competitive sport , all was well , indeed uber. However , when it comes to walking around the house while daydreaming/thinking , I still bump into every second corner in the hallway and then hop around screaming obscenities. God knows what the neighbours think ...

I've been invited to important people's houses and broken glasses, bowls and even a metal spoon once (goodness knows how I did it).

Thankfully, most people find it amusing and harmless and I don't mind too much when they laugh at me.
