Attention Community: I have discovered that the INFP Forum at INFPforum.net is almost completely dead. It seems to have had active participation in the past, but now only receives about one post a week. This was rather disheartening. How am I to study INFPs in their natural habitat if their forum community is no longer active?

Then an idea occurred...

WE CAN BRING IT BACK TO LIFE! We can rebuild it. We have the technology. We can make it better than it was. Better...stronger...faster.

All we need is for a bunch of INFPs (and anyone else too preferably) to go and start making interesting threads that would attract more INFPs. We need to hit a critical mass of INFPness that can sustain itself in an INFP chain reaction. This may take some time, but I'm sure if anyone is up to the task, INTPs can do it. (I believe in u gaiz!!) I therefore recommend that any member interested in an INTP plot to revive INFPforum.net go there immediately upon reading this and make a few posts, maybe start an INFPish thread. Some guy even joined yesterday, you could reply to his introduction thread and make him feel all warm and gushy. Check back every once in a while to see if there's anything new to respond to. Also direct any INFPs or related types you know there so that they can be aware of its existence. Tell the INFPs on other forums to come join in the fun!

What sort of things might attract INFPs? From looking through their forum and reading Reverse's thread, I've come up with the following (non-comprehensive) list:

  1. Puppies, especially Corgis.
  2. Cuteness
  3. Feelings
  4. Petting zoos
  5. Kites
  6. Kittens
  7. INTPs
  8. Hide and seek
  9. Orphans
Come on guys, I just know this can be a place of dreams and magic, but they're probably too busy daydreaming and tending to wounded animals to get a forum started on their own. They need our help!

The Joanna Newsom forum I administrate is basically an INFP forum. Sensitive souls gather to talk about their experiences of psychotherapy and be gushy about art. The refugees from INFP forum are welcome to join us.
Also:

  1. Puppies, especially Corgis. - Dogs in general, according to taste. Corgis are the best small dogs, but give me a husky or a malamute any day of the week.
  2. Cuteness - Yes.
  3. Feelings - More like passion. You people could even probably muster enough passion from your dead, black hearts about, I don't know, systems theory or algebra or something for it to be of interest.
  4. Petting zoos - Dissatisfying in a virtual medium. Consider instead: Pokémon.
  5. Kites - I guess kites are nice. Also, birds, hot air balloons. Probably not a matter of priority, though.
  6. Kittens - During that period before they've had to be neutered when they're all sweet and playful, after that they're just a source of melancholic guilt, but that's appealing enough in its own right.
  7. INTPs - I dunno...
  8. Hide and seek - Hide and seek is fun! Expand this to two categories of nostalgia and fun and I think you've got yourself a winner.
  9. Orphans - And other sad things. We like a good cry.
  10. Poetry, esp. Sylvia Plath.
  11. On that forum I mentioned our two most popular threads are called the Woo Life Thread and the Life Sucks Thread. An place in which to vent one moment about how wonderful life is and in the next about how awful it is would be very advisable.
  12. Curios.
  13. Music and talking about music and getting all emotional-like about music.
:p


Oh and keep the sperg to a minimum unless you actually have the sperg.

I had been reading about some horibly heinous crimes people had comitted against children they couldn't cope with, I don't remember what had led me to reading about that (there was a reason initially) but then I stumbled upon this Baby Hatch deal and at the time it struck me as the cleverest idea ever to save unwanted infants.

Do you think a topic about this would be of interest on their forum?
