Well I've been all three, and hardly noticed a difference between them.
Irrelevant. The fact that I'm not talking about individual blondes but rather the overall number of blondes does not mean that one blonde can disprove the rest.
Did they think she was less intelligent Editor? It sounds like she improved her looks, and that always tends to net more attention from men, even if platonic. If she had dyed her hair a
dark rich brown, or a
striking red she would have noticed the same things.
That's an unfounded assumption. There could be the possibility that more men like blondes than men who like red-heads, and it could be possible that where she was from the men like blondes. It could be possible that where you are from, men don't like blondes. We are talking about individual places.
So were these natural blondes or fake blondes? This is important since, it's possibly that certain personalities would gravitate towards this particular color for the perceived attributes of the stereotype. So instead of blondes are manipulative, it would be manipulative girls want to be blonde.
Natural. Just answering your question. XD
There is also a biological aspect, since males generally have more testosterone and most desire to appear masculine. The behavior I outlined plays into that. I never said anything along the lines that women pretend to be stupid though, some do and so do some men. I observe a lot of it, but I don't expect it of women. If anything it's more of a common tactic than stereotype.
Some do, some do not. This is the same thing when I said, "Not all blondes are manipulative". It's clear you are bringing up a thesis similar to mine, though yours may be better founded. The same way men are expected to do manual labor, the same way women are expected to do feminine layer. Either way, biologically or not, it's a stereotype. Don't you agree?
The only reason I brought it up, was that you made the assertion that blondes often pretend to be stupid, I was only correcting and saying it was present in all hair colors and that it is a common manipulative behavior.
I remember also stating, "I observe this alot in other races..." I know that it is present in everyone. But it seems that blondes do it more than so. Of course, in your areas, blondes may not do so.
Everyone is manipulative to a degree, how are blondes more so and why? Why are red heads and brunettes less manipulative? Is it only at your school? Does it make a difference if hair color is natural or artificial? Does this change with the demographics of an area? What about all the other colors? Are you implying their's some gene that will make women both manipulative and blonde? Do the same hair color rules apply to men.
I'm not saying that anyone is less manipulative than blondes. What I'm saying is that blondes tend to manipulate more than other types, maybe because they can, they need to, or they like too. I'm gravitating that to the fact that the blondes at my school are more good-looking than the other schools.
I believe that manipulation is not a gene, rather, something you learn. It could be that blondes tend to be more good-looking or attractive and thus they are more capable of manipulating.
Colors do have some effect too. If a person came in a room with wild purple hair, I believe that the first-impressions would be he was a wild, crazy guy. Who knows?
Saying 'blondes are more or less manipulative in one specific place' doesn't mean anything. Ashitaria, you're just making subjective assertions that cannot be tested, it's essentially an excuse for you to be prejudiced, albeit in a small way. Plus you're applying these standards to random non-related women, implying that they need to somehow prove to you that they're not manipulative like all the other blondes you've met. Why should they need to go through the effort of proving you wrong?
(hint: They're far more likely just to think you an asshole and ignore you, under which circumstances you might postulate that all blondes are cold bitches.)
Again, no hard feelings. But since it cannot be tested, you assuming that blondes are not manipulative is the same thing that me assuming blondes are manipulative. I'm not applying these standards, like I said. I'm just pointing out a pattern or an observation. I'm sorry if I offended you.
And I don't really care if they are manipulative or not. If they are not, fine. I'll just withdraw my thesis. If they are, fine. I don't care.
I'm not saying hair color doesn't have an effect, but it's an intermittent and unpredictable effect. It's not something you can judge people upon.
I don't judge people because of their hair-color. I'm just saying, some people of a hair-color have certain similar traits. It's a pattern I see. People with lights and high-lights tend to be very creative and un-conventional. People with crazy colors (purple, rainbow) are eccentric and rebellious. People who listen to jazz tend to be more inventive, people who listen to rock are rebellious...etc.
What we want our hair-color to be, what music we listen, what handwriting we have.....
Shows people a certain characteristic.
[I'm not nearly as riled as I sound, and I know you meant no harm. I'm not taking it that seriously, although a blanket statement like that on race, gender, orientation, etc and you'd make yourself a lot of enemies.

]
Damn I glad you feel that way.
