There are days I turn into an INFP and other days I'm an INTJ.

So I think I'm a perfect X on the T/F axis and the P/J axis.

I declare my type to be INXX.

There. :D

If that doesn't bring him out of retirement then nothing will. ;)

Well I'm head over heels for Socionics. It's far superior to this Mbti nonsense. :D

Seriously, I really miss Decaf. When I first started posting here, I felt like he was a part of the soul of this place. At that time I had just learned that I was an INTP and through his posts, he helped me understand a lot about what that meant.

I think one needs a virgin sacrifice to perform this spell.

According to this thread, we got at least 60 candidates for the honour of being the sacrifice.

You'll find plenty around here.

Poor, lost, lonely, tragic, serious souls.

They have yet to discover the beauty of meaningless ritual and the fun of social games.

Haha! :D

(I thought we were summoning Decaf tho, not Face...)

Why would we want face back? I said we just sacrificed him, so maybe that would count towards the sacrifice for decaf.

If we sacrifice Melkor will we get XP for it?
What would happen if we sacrificed nobody?

I would offer myself up for the sacrifice but I'm fairly sure a soul is required.

I think the point of a sacrifice is to give up something of value, so you are indeed right, neither of those would be of any use at all. Specially Melkor. Better to sacrifice nobody than to sacrifice Melkor!

Ah right, the whole "demonic" thing.

What about FusionKnight, he's practically a saint.
It may not summon decaf but at least we will get a life sized gold statue of him.

The only pure souls on this forum belong to Auburn and Chimera.

We could summon the creator of the universe with just two drops of their blood...

He's been gone a while, so you might have to make a sacrifice to get FusionKnight to appear first, before you sacrifice him to summon Decaf (or statue thereof.) Starting to sound like the seemingly cheaper way that's actually a lot more expensive...

Also, I've seen people trying live in the shadow of golden statues... It isn't always as cool as it sounds, having those around...

Gold = Greed

Do we want Decaf or the perceived worth of Decaf?
He is a person, not something that can be obtained through trade.
We should want him to come back on his terms, as he wills it.

And as much as his expertise in MBTI is appreciated, I wouldn't want him to read this thread thinking that this is all we want him back for. I remember a man with so much to offer in many areas of life... so much more...

I love fusionknight, his posts are so funny ^^

Even if he did somehow start it, it still isn't his fault. Everyone else seemed to just dive into it :)

I propose we create a group whose sole purpose is to be visible enough for Decaf to see it should he log back in), but for him to not be able to read the posts made by the group (which does nothing but talk about Decaf). Eventually, he will want to come back on and try to find out what is going on.... we must maintain complete secrecy for as long as possible. The password to view the posts is... *whisper whisper DECAF whisper whisper*

We will succeed :phear:

May I say, holy crap. As I've missed a lot I will make this an immensely long post to make up for some of that time.

I see him lurking. I command him to appear to us and impart some wisdom.

And tell us what what he has been up to.

Or at least tell us what a bunch of goofy bastards we all are. :D

I don't know about ALL... I always found you to be a little too serious for your own good. Stop it.

There are days I turn into an INFP and other days I'm an INTJ.

So I think I'm a perfect X on the T/F axis and the P/J axis.

You don't need a costume to be a ninja my young padawan

I'm pretty sure he moved

Yep, to San Francisco, but I've been unable to find work. That means I may be going right back up to Portland, likely with many compelling stories to chill to heart and freeze the blood. Or at least to cause awkwardness and courtesy chuckles.

um, Decaf... I think I might be an ESFJ now... Help!

That should do it.

"ESFJs are people persons - they love people... People like to be around ESFJs" I was gonna play along and offer some bad advice, but after reading that I was left speechless. Um, no.

You know, I'm beginning to see a trend. Very sneaky, folks. Tricking him out of lurkdom. :D:p

Its a conspiracy I tells ya!

There's a simple answer to that. They're delusional. I would need to captain a starship to be worthy of such praise.

OK, here's the Christmas Letter portion...

I'm in San Fran. Its beautiful and magnificent and brutally expensive. I have no job and am forced to mooch off my girlfriend to the detriment of our relationship. I always feel like I should be doing something to solve the problem, and thus have little patience for some of my own sanity savers, like forum reading. I am tired most of the time, but as things have started to come to a head with our savings running out, I feel some relief in the fact that some dramatic change is inevitable.

I'm learning how to cook, which is great because I used to consider Top Ramen and Paneer from a packet to be a suitable dinner. Some of my meals have been downright tasty <gasp!> and even more surprising... attractively served! <double gasp!>

IMG_3121.JPG

Over time it has become clearer to me that "plugging away" is getting me no where, so I signed on today with the intent of actually posting and trying to get to know the new folks on the forum. And then I found this atrocity. Geez people, get a grip on yourselves :p

I miss you all. Its nice to be home.
