While the forum was down I took the opportunity to clean and organise my entire house, catch up and bond with my six closest girlfriends over coffee and a spur of the moment shopping trip and get all my paperwork in perfect order.

...right...
I brushed up on Aztec Blood Rituals http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_sacrifice_in_Aztec_culture
Got caught up reading about Krokodile, a horrific home made heroin substitute in widespread use in Russia, that literally eats the flesh of its users. (image Search it!!!)
And made it through the first 20 episodes of Death Note. (which I never watched before)
Considered the types of various fictional characters and mentally mapped out how it relates to the probable types of people I know.
Caught myself analyzing the behavior of various humans and dissecting the cultural situations said behavior seems to be attempting to promote, when I was meant to be empathizing.
Also, attempted to convince my good friend that is having relationship issues that making a chart to lay out the facts of what is wrong was a far more to the point, efficient, and perfectly reasonable way of communicating than having a long drawn out emotional conversation. (She didn't go for it)
How about you? Anything new and interesting you learned?
