Does no one use it or does the forum just not recognize it? I've noticed that the majority of the users on the forum use either Firefox, IE, or (to a much lesser extent) Opera... but no chrome. Meh not a big deal, but would anyone be interested in explaining why they use the browser they use?

PS: I havn't been on the website on my PSP or PS3 before, i wonder what they would show up as :P

Chrome is displayed as Safari because they are based on the same technology.

Wasn't it because the plugin that displays the OS and browser information is really outdated?

Sony, are you serious? Google Chrome is a just a big piece of spyware.

I use primarily Firefox (in conjunction with Opera) because I like my software customizable and because of addons for extra security like NoScript, and of course addblock.

For those that like Chrome and don't like google snooping around, there is SRWare's Iron. Same functionality as Chrome, however a lot of the privacy concerns are removed.

I love it. No gimmicks, very fast, decent ad-blocker, and it gets the job done(for lack of a better phrase).

I use Chrome and Firefox.
Chrome with some basic extensions (AdBlock included) when just casually surfing the web since it's really fast and minimalist.
Firefox comes in when I have some web coding to do because it still has superior extension support (might be just out of habit since I used it all the time before Chrome came out) and I'm not that fond of Chrome's dev tools for some reason.

As far as privacy goes, it doesn't bother me much sending statistics and error crash reports to Google tbh.

So yeah, my 2 cents.

Very interesting information.

I use Google Chrome, but I'm going to try SRWare Iron for a while now that I've heard about it. I found Firefox to be more of a resource hog than Google Chrome, but I haven't used it in a long while. Google Chrome just works faster than all other browsers I've tried, and it actually works, so I use it.

I just made the switch from Firefox to Chrome and I gotta say, I don't regret it. Google Chrome is quite a bit faster, especially when looking at startup times. The multiprocess thing for tabs is cool for occasional website freezes if a bit unaesthetic when looking at task manager. As for the whole "Google looks at your websites" thing, I used Unchrome to get rid of my user ID, so my surfing is anonymous. I'm not willing to "test" the safety protocols unfortunately, but I haven't had any significant problems. Chrome also has a fairly significant array of extensions itself which should be enough to keep most of the Firefox fans happy. All-in-all, I like it better than Firefox.

I thought I would divagate by stating my opinion of "Chrome is great" but yes, I prefer it's system of simplicity.

I've had Chrome maybe a fortnight now, very fast, plays videos etc no problems really.
Just tried to run Unchrome in Ubuntu. It gives me:
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
this when I try to run it in Archive Manager. My knowledge of Ubuntu is pretty thin (zilch really) as I've only had it about a month or more.
Little help getting Unchrome going?

I use both Safari and Chrome. I'm using Chrome right now. I kind of switch back and forth. I like both of them for their speed, and I've really been enjoying Chrome's interface. I also have Firefox, IE, and Navigator for testing web pages and opening pages that don't work in Webkit browsers. But I don't really enjoy using those. (Then I gripe at them for it.)
