I guess it may have influenced my judgement, but the music definetly fits, too. Something about sounding angry and elated simultaneously. Though that's probably just me, impressions are by definition rather subjective.

Aye, Ogion introduced these symphony of science clips to the IRC - one of many gifts he shared. The best.
Sagan, and his unadultered wonder for the cosmos, reduces me to tears. Imagine if every human were like him (and Ogion.) Very apt choice for our absent paladin.

It's from a musical - I seem to recall Da Blob was somewhat partial to show tunes? 'Godly' man despairs of the inane and childish nature of the world. Resents own weakness of being human (all though that’s more of an INTP thing here given the subject matter of emotions and love.) Also, seemed kind of relevant with the recent “Iniquity versus Love” thread and what and how one comes to understand of ‘love’:
