I suggest I could put the coordinate here but then
I guess you are talking about a natural (not artificial) time period, otherwise I would said 29/2 because it don't happen a lot.

I love the transition period between autumn and winter. The sun is waning, the sky is gloomy yet a few ray of light penetrate the darkness providing me the lens into the future. Yellow leaves scattered on the ground, the tree distorted into a sad signpost, reminding human of the fate destined to all of us the moment we were born. The cold invisible hand of the natural sweep through the street, caress my skin, bring my mind to the air fortress, where all the nuisance of everyday life are expelled into the oblivion. The street are near empty everywhere I walked, immerse me into the soothing delusion that judgment day are neared, pierce my heart with the realization that human are so small and lonely in this universe. The lake have a dark and gloomy feeling in it. The small wavelets scattered, sending my dream to universe.

Wow, that is a lot of wall banging and thesaurus searching, sorry English was not my native language and I had never been good at writting literature.

Spring. Because winter is cold (although I do snowski) and rainy, which I'm not really a big fan of, and Summer in Australia can get pretty bloody hot.

I like winter because I find it funny to listen to everyone else complaining about how cold they are when the cold isn't bothering me at all. Plus I think my brain works better when it's colder.

I think i like spring too. Autumn would take over greatly if it wouldn't rain so much.
but doesn't it rain in the freakin spring too?
I hate rain.
Winter's too cold.
Summer too hot.
And the other two are rainy.
Blah.
I hate weather.
No favorite time of the year for me i guess.

Favorite days of the possibly favorite time of the year?
Yeah the not-rainy-autumn-days.

I guess it depends on your climate too. There isn't much rain here in Spring.

"Autumn" he said, with a deep passionate voice. Everyone saw in his eyes that a detailed explanation wasn't necessary.

I just really like darkness/fog/rain... so comfy to sit inside looking out:)

Usually I would agree with you 100%, but lately I've been feeling really guilty when I just sit inside, usually on my computer, so I go outside and just read, do homework or sometimes sleep. The other day I took a day off school, wore only underwear and a robe, just sat out in the sun reading a book, drinking coke. It was probably the best day I've had all year.

Winter. There's nothing quite as satisfying to me as looking around and seeing everyone looking gloomy and blue because of the rain and the cold when they're exactly the two things that make me feel really happy, they just please me so much. A bit sadistic of me, I know, but it's more because I like the feeling that people aren't flaunting their bodies around and carrying themselves like they're some important piece of carbon.

I love that feeling of dampness that winter brings along with all it's rain, you can feel it's weight on your body and it's simply warming to the soul. And this, combined with the cold feels like nothing is forcing it's presence on me, unlike the warm weather, but rather just accepting my existence and allowing me to live peacefully.

Then there's the colors... The beautiful greens and reds popping out like never ever before due to the wonderful gray sky and the water filled fog, all colors just get infinitely richer and vivid, it's so eye pleasing. The things that the cold does to the human body are wonderful too, simply wonderful. The red cheeks, the red nose, the cold hands and the cold feet... Making people want to stick together and warm each other, it's simply wonderful ;______; !

Gosh, uh... I really really like the winter man and oh what Cogwulf said: my brain works much better in the winter.

I agree with what you're saying here. But I also disagree. I love not wearing pants in Spring, weird, I know, but when I'm not wearing pants (I am, btw, wearing underwear) that I am somehow a very basic, primitive human.

Pacific Standard Time.

Southern California doesn't have much in the way of weather, so while I sympathize with those suffering in colder climates, I really look forward to winter, when it goes from stifling hot to only too hot to finally livable, maybe with a bit of overcast and a week of rain. I live for the overcast and rain. At the moment, we have temperatures in the low- to mid-80s, and I just want to feel a cool breeze for a change.

I'm a night-owl, and morning people drive me crazy. Apologies if you are one. What bugs me is the assumption many early-birds seem to have that they are somehow better people with better morals because they wake early and rested.

During Standard Time, the clocks match my own internal clock, and the world matches my natural schedule a bit more closely. I like the dark, the beautiful winter constellations, the slower and quieter pace. In the winter, I feel good, do more outdoors, and am generally happier.

Then Daylight Savings Time comes, and misery returns.

The subtle pang of a crisp autumn night is something I enjoy immensely.

Winter also, when it's not finding some way to ruin my day, i.e. beaching my car at the end of the driveway, it is delightful, mostly for the music, and just how insular and melancholic it all is.

Autumn in subzero climates, Winter in >0 climates. Grey skies, rain and as little sun as possible are my idea of a perfect, um, outside world. A pity it doesn't last forever.

I feel just like that, but I couldn't find any way to put it into words

no one has mentioned summer yet? really?

it's warm, green, sunny, and mostly pleasant. add in a few thunderstorms for variety. I could easily imagine myself living somewhere tropical for the rest of my life.

I think the reason I say this is that my mood is linked to the seasons. in the fall and winter months i feel much more 'down' in general, and I prefer the pleasantness of summer 4 times out of 5. call me a person of simple taste in this regard :p

A friend of mine (also an INTP) used to say his favorite time of year was mid-autumn because he liked to watch things die. His favorite days were days when there were no shadows. Interesting guy.

I think my favorite months are May and September. I like warm and sunny; I don't like hot and I hate being cold.

I love the beginning of winter, the months of november and december when it's just starting to snow and the air is fresh, cold and crisp. It's dry,no uncomfortable humidity and rain, not too cold and it's just beautiful sitting in your cozy, warm room during nighttime and watching the snow fall.

Snow <3.

I like early September and early February/March.

These are the beginnings of the academic semester (for me), and indicate a starting point, where there are only possibilities. I basically have no climate preference; my favorite times of year are anytime where there is no high social pressured nonsense (no holidays around), and where there is a fresh start within the system I am defining my progress in.

Late Autumn, Near Winter. The temperature is perfect, the sky is a blank slate, trees look their best. The picture above, I hope, says 1000 words, and I am far too lazy to write them.

From a dangerously safe distance
Where I live, I like early March and late October/early November. I like the beginning of spring, just when things start to bloom, but before my allergies kick in. (they're not that bad anyway though). Then there's the fall, which is just beautiful. When it's cold, but not cold and when the leaves turn colors, it's perfect, and it makes me want to get outside more often. I still get an urge to jump into a pile of leaves.

Christmas, by far. If it was on during winter, that'd be even more awesome because I thrive in cold weather. People are so happy and generous during Christmas - why can't we be like that all the time?
Good point. Though it could also be said that people are more fake then and that all the commercials, shopping crowds, and expectations to be cheery are a bit annoying. Still, I can't really think of a time when people are more generous.

There aren't really seasons where I live, and I can't wait to move somewhere that has them.

Last month it poured for two days and then was 85 degrees the next two days. It was cold last week, 90 yesterday, supposed to be 65 later this week and then it will heat up again. I always feel sick from all the sudden changes.

My favorite days, then, are cold and cloudless. Just brisk, cold air but you can still feel the sun. I
don't like the heat, therefore I generally dislike March through mid November... Which is basically the entire year.

Depends on my mood. :P
(These are seasons from the northeastern states point of view.)

Mid to late autumn:
The colors are beautiful, especially when trees are fringed with fire's colors and the sky is the perfect shade of blue. There's the distinct smell--musty leaves and spicy sap from maples, dogwoods, chestnuts. Darkness greets the sky sooner; the moon gives an extended appearance that only adds to the crisp autumn night. A playful breeze tugs at your clothes whispering of adventure. The rains come more often, cleansing the earth and mind from the wounds left by humanity, gathering everything up beneath an endless stretch of gray then releasing the world back into its colors.

The dead of winter:
Cold. Unforgiving. Dangerous. You forget your coat? It doesn't care. You're cold? Fix it yourself. You can hide from the frozen air, safe inside your home with your heat or your fireplace, or you can brave the winter storms and confront nature head on. Everything is still under a layer of snow. Standing alone in a field, you belong with everything but to nothing. Nighttime takes on a new edge when each breath you take slides knives of ice against your throat and lungs. Winter is barren, untouchable, beautiful.

Spring came with awakening, came with innocense and joy
Spring came with fascination and desire to deploy
Summer came with restlessness and curiousity
Summer came with longing for the things we could not be

Take me to the forest, take me to the trees
Take me anywhere as long as you take me
Take me to the ocean, take me to the sea
Take me to the Breathe and BE

Autumn came with knowledge, came with ego came with pride
Autumn came with shamefulness for the things we could not hide
Winter came with anger and a bitter taste of fate
Winter came with fear for the things we could not escape

Take me to the forest, take me to the trees
Take me anywhere as long as you take me
Take me to the ocean, take me to the sea
Take me to the Breathe and BE
