Personally I never got to see the page, the link doesn't work, I replied solely on what I read from others. But if the site is up else where I would like to see what everyone has been talking about here.

Hey...Im XNTP leanin towards ENTP. I used to think i was better than everyone else. But now i think "define better". Yes im better than most people at many things, I wont lie. But then i see my faults. My parents raised me telling me to be perfect, and that has caused me severe anxiety, and fear of failure. Failure for me causes anxiety, which causes depression, which causes more failure. Shit. A cycle of pain. But ya, im pretty good at everything. Except i cant do a hoolihoop.

But being good at everything comes with a cost. Im not EXTREMELY good at one thing. Ya, im a good artist, but im not a pro. Yes i can play an instrument by teaching myself, but i cant actually play the instrument. I guess i just dont feel like putting in the time to being really really good at one single thing, so that energy is evenely distributed.

Im a really good athelete, but i hate sports. Funny isnt it? My parents raised me to be a really good athelte, yet i hate other atheletic jock type kids and hate team spirit. Im just slightly better at sports and athletic kinda activities. Im weird, im a really good athlete, but not cocky at all. People would say to me, "wow, your an awesome goal keeper, i didnt even know you played sports" or "I didnt know you were such a good athlete", because i dont act like i like sports...cuz i really dont.......rambling

@ verafides, ok I give you credit. I have been reading your blog. From the looks of it a female I was engaged to a couple years ago was not an ESFP like I had figured but an ESFJ, which from what you mentioned makes sense.

Also when I started reading the ENTP male thing meeting the blond etc, I thought someone was watching me, was an almost exact description of how I operate and look, up to the meeting the female. Used to be extremely shy, but I don't feel that on me anymore, which I can blame on family issues as a child and I know exactly when it started, which allowed me to over come it.

You do have a real point about the personality tests which I have read some of the INTPs here have addressed similar findings. Haven't read your old thing that this thread is about but will get to it (Just read it, very funny, not going to take any of it as truth but it was funny to read.)

I don't know much about Peter Pan to argue or agree with you.

But socionics has a thing against us ENTPs. Acts like our creativity is pseudo or something of the sort.

The MS Paint picture is hilarious.

But yes most people will type them selves completely depending on what they think they want to be. My dad did the test and got INFP, I laughed. He is stereotypical ESFP. I mean he almost even looks like Steve Erwin. While my mother got INFJ but she is definitely not. There is no bit of intuition in her head at all. I would have to say she is a toss up between ISFJ and a really bad INFJ haha.

Of course he doesn't believe any of this stuff.

ENTPs are too ENlightened to believe in things.

Belief can be easily questioned without any objective reason therefore is a liability for it being false. Now truth on the other hand if called to questioning can be defended by what it stands for. I do not believe "all men are mortal" can be set to be questioned for all men die-without exception. So will we die in what may be a pitiful death from drugs or a glorious death, probably earning some sort of a war medal, but frankly we will either rot underground or be burnt to ashes. Thus there is no time to believe in things for if we do not possess the knowledge of the realm around us we are subjected to believing in such atrocities for which if confronted with no man would say that they truly believed in them. I can't question myself in the matters of beliefs because such course of actions would show that I have beliefs and thus the whole reason to find"what is the purpose of life?" would become just a belief that anyone can share and anyone can easily oppose. One may seek freedom or believe that he is free. I take the first option.:king-twitter:

could you copy the text from the link for me? it won't show-up for me :(

My original post was from two years ago and the website is geocities so I'm not surprised that it's not up anymore.

However, I googled for "verafides" and he still has a website with his ENTP rant.

:)

If a mod could add this link to my original post that would be great. Let's take our thread necromancy seriously, people!

Also, I agree with the hate on ENFPs. It's been a recently development, but yes, they are so selfish, and all of their imagination and Ne goes to fueling their selfishness.

Is it the Fi? Determining what to value by personal resonation = selfishness, and bad?

The people I know with dominant Fi are the kindest and most selfless I know. I'd like to include myself in that. :P
I think INTPs would dislike ENFPs because a) they didn't know them and didn't realise that INTPs and ENFPs actually have pretty good friendships or b) they do know them and they find their hyper-irrationality insufferable. One of my best friend's been an ENFP since long before I started testing as INFP. Sometimes sparks would fly over the conflict between my rationality and his absence there of, but for one thing he respected my intelligence and for another thing he's generally motivated enough to please others that he'd avoid conflict unless he was really grumpy. Mostly we just made eachother laugh a lot. Still do.

On the other hand I've known one ENTP and she was fucking insufferable. :P "I'm the God Queen of Everything!" she'd say without saying it; "I know everything and you, lowly scum, are my peons to serve me!" In reality she was particularly good at studying and everyone she knew found it intensely difficult to be around her.

The two scientific functions with Socionics are ENTP and INTj (Ne and Ti), that leaving nothing for the INTp and ENTJ as they don't fit into the common Sensoric jobs either. Being an Introvert is inferior to being an Extrovert. ENTPs are the best. The second spot is between ENTJ and INTj. The INTp being the most miserable spot to be though generally better than being an NF, ST or SF, so not all bad but professionally it's a joke.
