...hello. I don't believe we have met. But then of course I could be wrong..

I took the mbti test a couple of months ago, but came out as infp. For a while I thought that I was a 'feeler', because I'm quite emotional, but after I read a little more about the functions, I realised that I used way more introverted thinking than I did feeling.

Right, I'm quite socially awkward (i've been mistaken for a mute, for christ's sake), even around my closest friends, so I might take a while to get used to this kind of thing. I love music, especially Modest Mouse, The Smiths and Sigur Ros. I play guitar and sometimes write songs, but have stopped that a little recently. I paint and draw quite a bit too, and spend a lot of time on deviantART. Philosophy and psychology interest me too, and i'm a closet Newscientist reader

Welcome to the forum! I've never really gotten into modest mouse... I dunno. But there's a few bands that I really like that I somewhat similar to them, I'll go figure that out and get back to you.

The moon & antartica. Ya know, as I listen to it again it does get better... I dunno.

I'm more a fan of indie music. Have you heard of The Information? For some reason modest mouse & the information are associated in my mind, but they really aren't that similar. I mean, they're both rock... maybe have kinda similar tempos.

Yeah. music is a mystery to me.

Sigur Ros is some of the most beautiful music I've heard in a long time.

As for the whole emotional thing, I can say the same thing about myself. I concluded that I'm an INTP because I often think head over heart, and my Fi isn't nearly strong enough for me INFP. It's just kind of funny because when I was first introduced to the MBTI and this forum, I was still the same emotional INTP I am today, but I had a bit of an INTP conformity phase (ironic) and denied my feeling characteristics because I didn't understand them too well. I still don't, but I'm starting to come to terms with it.
