Scientology's e-meter auditing was a pretty smart trick: You tell a person their most personal flaws (or strengths) and touch them on their core with this stuff, as if you have done something so magical nobody has ever done to them, and then you promise them you can improve them on that identified core. And they can grow and flourish like a flower within the cult (people see that in their childish fantasy of the whole deal). Great incentive to pay for some courses. Works!
I must say podlair's VI-video "auditing" is similar, but even smarter: it can be done remotely and it requires an investment by the initiate (the investment of the lowering-of-pride, being an identifiable clown on film, giving the copyright of your footage, plus the investment of your time).
nothing hurts more than the loss of a little investment, so once the video is made, the follow-up by the initiate always follows.
the video may also be used as proof that you were initiated, which can be saved for future usage.
damn if the great mr. hubbard only knew this stuff.
BTW humorless INTP guys: dont take this thread seriously, i am not for or against anybody, i am just having fun
