advise on new adventure

- ok so i got a deal with a company outside my country, not much money but they give me accomodation.
- i haven't finished uni, i'm supposed to retake 3 examns in september and it's done.
- i'm fucking bored at home with no friends nearby or chances to get a girl or meet new people.
- the place i'm going is quite small and not much happening there but i will meet new people for sure.
- i started going to psycologist last week without really understanding if it's a waste of time or not, if i leave now i might never know if there's a cure or not for me.
- i'm old.
- time won't wait for me.
- this would be my 3rd year in a row leaving my country and living outside, supposedly for at least 1 year, my parents think i'm a lost bullet and there's no hope for me.
- to stay would mean to deal with life as boring as it is, to leave would mean to keep splashing like a magikarp until it evolves into gyrados.

should i stay or should i go?

If it was me, I wouldn't go, since there's not much money and the company seems to be making you reliant on their "accomodations".

But I know nothing of the circumstances. I knew someone that did a similar thing for an internship as some kind of I think environmental technician. So she was very outdoorsy and liked it, regardless of the low pay and shitty boarding. But it wasn't permanent either.

But maybe finishing your exams would be smart? Like then that's done. Out of the way. You'll feel closure abt that and be able to move on freely.
Also you put the time and effort into whatever courses the exams are for, so don't just waste that.

Meeting ppl isn't as bad as it seems like if you have one outgoing friend and you just walk around and talk to strangers in a non malicious way you can meet lots of people and it's just fun af

Fun story I have a crazy awesome friend who will shout random stuff to strangers or just say hello and start talking to people and now she knows like every person who ever comes near our town and it's just rlly cool
We were crossing the street one day and she said hi to some random dude and started talking, I kept walking bc I wanted food lol but she caught up w me a few minutes later like "I just made a friend and drug dealer"

Y'all send some prayers to my friend she needs them but still she's fun to know.

i was never a hippie, if i didn't wash my hair was because i was lazy about it.
Lithuania was a cool place indeed, just simple things for simple people, a lot of dark artsy shit going on, a lot of mystical sex in the forest. my relationship with the hippy tribe over there was about killing or sexing them. And everyone was very polite and interested in hearing you / drunk. here everyone is like i don't have time, i'm listening to maluma, everyone is so loud, everyone is so fucking perfect at talking laughting about nothing. but yeah, actually Madrid is a really nice place to do whatever you want to do or find new things going on, so maybe i'm just a frustrated prick.

Just enjoy the time with her rather than wallow on your lack of credentials and general "worthiness". You're just hanging out, educational attainment isn't that a big deal in that field.

Spain is a third-world country that happens to have euros. It's good for vacation – for work not so much.

Wow normally your posts are quite objective and all that, and even tho some show a bit of hatred I tend to agree but this is just plain ignorance.
I have been in several places, around 20 different countries and lived in 4 of them for long periods and I can tell you Spain has nothing to envy on them. At so many levels I would say our quality of life is far superior. Culturally we have so many different things going on, so many shows, art happening, music, so much. I would say we have a fucking superb public transportation system and a solid social health care. You feel safe everywhere you go. As for payments. Its good if u have a good degree and CV. As in everywhere. My sister has a normal/low kind of degree (nothing related to maths or physics) And she gets around 2500 euros per month.
For living that's more than enough.
Yeah if u compare to Norway ... Thing changes but then u need to think what do u really want.


The problem i have with Spain is how hot it gets in summer and most people are super loud. And I'm not even Spanish.

I've also lived in a few countries at this point – including Spain. Maybe it was a culture shock coming from northern Europe, but geez – don't tell me they have good infrastructure and decent pay. I mean, I personally couldn't complain about my pay because I worked in an international business, but I heard about well-educated tech professionals who made 18k EUR per year. That's fucking crazy compared to the rest of Europe. And no, I wouldn't say they have good social health care. Most northern-Europeans who lived there used private doctors from their own countries. The public transport was useless. The bureaucracy looked amateurish at best – the kind of thing where you have to smooth-talk your way through it.

But maybe it depends on where you are in Spain, I don't know. I was, however, in the place with highest level of economic development in the southern region of Spain.
