If you could travel back from the future to the present, what advice would you give yourself now?

I wouldn't give myself any advice. I've seen The Butterfly Effect :storks:

I don't know what exactly I'll learn in the future and therefore I can't predict what my lesson would be for now, and if I already did know what I intended to teach or tell myself from the future there would be no need to come back later and tell the me of now because I would already know it.
It would also mean that between now and the time that I would originally come back to tell myself whatever, I wouldn't have grown as a person. A very sad thought.

It'd probably be whatever advice the future me heard when it happened to him in his past, aka the present.

But seriously, I'm guessing future me wouldn't give present me any advice, or even appear at all, because future me would know that if present me knew my fate I'd probably quit my job and never work.

In my own head
I would tell myself "Crazy shit happens, but that just means life is normal."
And then disappear in a poof of sparkly glitter.

I live?
I would tell myself to listen to the song I will like in the future. Just to see if my tastes will change or not.
I saw Butterfly Effect too. Interesting movie ;)

How would you be able to tell if your tastes did change?

Astute observation, bro.

Would be cool to hear some future sounds, but at the same time ruin them.

That's exactly what I thought about it.

Inside my head.
I would probably start out with something like "This is not a dream, Saeros; I am you and you are me." Then, slightly confusticated, present me would say something like "Wait a minute, Doc. Ah… Are you telling me that you built a time machine… out of a DeLorean?" Then I would probably mention something about Skynet taking over the world. That's totally gonna happen, I saw it in a movie. Then I would say "If that machine can do what you say it can do, destroy it, future me! Destroy it before it destroys us!" Then future me would say "Look at them. They’re just asking for it. Maybe the human race deserves to be wiped out." Then future me would put on a weird bunny suit and say "Twenty-eight days... six hours... forty-two minutes... twelve seconds. That is when the world will end." Yep, i think that's about it.

Is murdering and replacing my past self an option? Paradox time!

Ahem, if not... I suppose it would be something along the lines of, don't worry, be happy, 'cause you'll learn to hate the things that stress you anyways.

I think I'd go the opposite way and tell myself if something is stressing you, fix it/them for the greater good.
