Hello my dears. I've joined this forum as of recent times, and I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a man of wealth, and taste. I've been around for a long, long years...
Song's been in my head for a while. Ahem. Anyway; I've been lingering about for a week or so now, and I thought I would formally virtually shake hands with you all, and ask how you've been doing. Not caring about your answer of course, but acting intrigued nevertheless.

My interests vary, if you must be so inclined to know them. I like to write, it's my favorite way of expressing myself, as when I speak aloud I'm not able to think quickly, and my words come out jumbled and awkward, as do most of my actions, out there in the big, real world... I like to draw and read as well, but those are things I tend not to do as often as I should. And languages, my goodness, languages.. but that's another story.

So I tip my hat and say hello to y'all. How are you this fine evening?

I believe that's the 3rd time I've seen a newcomer lead with a 'Sympathy for the Devil' quote.

Oh well, it's a great song at least.

Welcome!
There are a number of like-minded INTPians who seemingly lack the ability to speak and think at the same time. I certainly am one of them. In fact, I am not the least bit surprised, when people are shocked and quite sceptical, when I tell them I am actually quite intelligent, for actually I never quite manage to speak intelligently - except for the walking encyclopedia thing...

I have an existential map. It has "You are here" w

And here was me thinking that there was something wrong with me, now I find that it's a fairly common INTP trait!

I don't know about you, but I find that when I am in a very certain frame of mind that I can think and express myself intelligently at the same time, but unfortunately that frame of mind isn't that common and doesn't often occur at the most useful times

Welcome anyway :)

I am confused with the man of wealth and taste named Sara. I'm even more confused with an INTP with wealth...

Ahaha, thank you, my dear xD I'm developing a fondness for you as well ;3

Well, you see now, I was writing my post, and I wrote, "I'd like to introduce myself..." and I thought I would just finish the song that made its way into my head. As an INTP with wealth, I'm quite sure some make fabulous money working solely at home on the internet, alone in their little swirling chairs and small apartments.

Ahem. Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome :D I'm glad I'm not the only one that appears like a total imbecile whilst trying to communicate with those around us. I sound so much more sophisticated when I write, as my real personality comes out, but when I talk I talk very fast and very low, and less than half the time people can't understand me anyway. I only recently learned this of course, because all my life people have just been nodding and smiling.

Always nice.

Hello dear friend.

An INTP with wealth, and, of course, the vast resources stemming from that wealth, could do, I am quite sure, anything. It would be simply amazing to see.

I find I am in absolute agreement with your second paragraph. That is certainly a common trait among the people of this forum.

I don't suppose you live in the south, do you? Saying "y'all" and having your location as "over yonder" completely gives it away.

In the south? Oh no my dear, I live quite up in the North. I just prefer "y'all" to "you all."
You should have figured by now that most INTP's do have quite odd preferences.. :p

Quite odd, indeed...

I suppose one could say I live in the south. NC. I don't consider myself southern in any way though (well... but that is for a later day). I am at least not southern in mannerisms and language. I am far more southern in political views.

Hmm, well. I'm not one for politics; I can try to get interested for 5 to 10 minutes or so, but any attempt is in vain.
Do you have a southern accent? I have a particular fondness for accents.. :3
No, but I live in New York.
Not in the city.
I feel the need to clarify, because apparently the entire state of New York to everybody who doesn't live there completely just consists of New York City, and nothing else.

I don't grant or give.

I only see, understand, and replicate.

Stay as long as you can stick it.

I'm even more confused now. I got the explanation and insulting part, but the rest of your ramblings perplex me.

Pedobear wouldn't match it. He could molest you, but he wouldn't have had the idea to lather you up in chocolate first. It makes me oft wonder if somebody here has alternate interests that he's neglecting to share.

No, I don't have a southern accent.

Actually, I am often noted (or rather, in the south, accused) of talking very fast like a Yankee. It make me laugh often.

Yes, I know there are some cities in New York besides NYC, but that IS what everyone thinks about.

Come in! Come in! Have a seat. Spot of tea sweetheart? Sugar? One lump or two? Oh well, you'll get two whether or not you want it. No, no! Don't speak love. There will be time enough for that later...

Oh goodness, you have quite the taste in music. But ah, I'm going to have to reject your offer for tea, as much as I like sugar.

No tea? Why is that? Me, I just love some nice Chamomile tea with 3-4 cubes of sugar (regardless of the amount of tea).
Oh, and welcome from my side, as well.

New York, you say. I'm not sure if I've seen anyone else on here from outside the city. What part? I grew up near Saratoga Springs.
