My best friend is an INFP and, honestly, out friendship is one of the only things in the world that I can't put my finger on with precision. He has the very same kind of wit that I do, shares my interests and is amazingly genuine and loyal. He's also one of the few people who aren't afraid to...
TJ types don't live by schedules. The way they structure their lives so well is due to them having a clear vision of their objectives in all aspects of life. Instead of scheduling your activities, try to consciously think about what you need to do and how you could spend your time better than...
It's not about being a J as that involves reversing the direction of EVERY single one of your functions (Assuming that ENTJ is the ideal type to tackle these obstacles). Just learn about the Te function and attempt to actively use it. It comes with practice.
INTP = Aspergers
ESTJ = Dispraxia
ISTP = Dyslexia
ESFP = ADHD
ISTJ = Boring Disease
Modern society needs to learn to differentiate between personality traits and disorders.
It's impossible to come up with an archetype for every position of the scale (considering the fact that there are infinite degrees) but it's possible to come damned close to it.
If you're an "INTP" with Ne as your dominant, you're an ENTP.
=/
I can not stress enough the fact that archetypal type profiles and the type code isn't the be-all and end-all of the MBTI. An in-depth understanding of the seperate functions is required to actually utilise the MBTI fully.
What isn't accurate? The fact that ESTJ's don't make up 50% of the population? If you're talking about the fact that the source states that it is taken from a limited survey sample, consult other sources then.
Either explain yourself or stop trying to argue for points. We're trying to make...
If you're adamant on not applying your own reasoning and observations, here you are.

You'll find that many other MBTI-related sites will have similar statistics. It may not be accurate but it does provide a vague idea.
I'll...
Care to do more than just ignore my statements and "dismiss" me? I told you your statistics were wrong and they obviously are. ESTJs don't make up 50% of the population; *S*Js do. That means ESFJs, ESTJs, ISFJs (bless their little hearts) and ISTJs.
Your statistics were wrong so you should...
Since when the hell did ESTJs make up 50% of the population? Are you sure you don't mean *S*Js? Also, a system like this is 100% concrete in that it covers every possible base available via attributing function preferences in degrees.
The test isn't the be-all and end-all of the MBTI.
I...
The P affects S types in a completely different way to N types as well as Fe being COMPLETELY different to Te for obvious reasons. I'm not picking nits when the majority of such a potentially well-educated community is confused over such a major aspect of the MBTI.
Viewing I/E and J/P as just...
The E/I and J/P axes are NOT functions. The just dictate the directions of your two preferred functions and which function you lead with. The P you guys talk about is Ti>Ne which is drastically different to Se>Fi in terms of P or even Ne>Ti. As far as E/I goes, the way introversion manifests...
Introversion isn't a function. It dictates your preferred introverted function (dictated by your J/P axis and preferred functions) as your leading one.
You know that perception and judgement aren't functions, right? The P/J axis dictates whether a person's perceiving function (S/N) or their judging (F/T) function is their extraverted one.
Most INTPs tend to just find it hard to socialise with people don't don't trust. It also happens to be quite difficult to gain an INTP's trust a lot of the time.
I never know what to write for these things.
I've been lurking here for a while now. Discovering the MBTI is probably the best thing I've ever done for myself in my entire (thus far short) life. Naturally, I managed to stumble upon INTPf on my quest to seek out like minded individuals so I can...
