When looking at real-world experience, I think that leveling up in most RPGs is very arbitrary. I think there are experiences that we all have that can be equated to "leveling up" irl; some examples that come to mind for me are promotions, religious/spiritual milestones, graduations, and so on...
I'll play. It sounds like an incredibly hungover Com Truise and MGMT tried to make a utopian vaporwave track, failed, but realized it halfway through. 7/10
Never say never ;)
Obviously I haven't been 'round these parts in awhile and I'd have a lot of catching up to do, but I will echo what others have said, that "the forum" is a medium that offers something not quite replicated in social media and other, more modern, internet communication...
I was wondering about that, too. Like INTP, could the functions themselves also just be archetypal behavior, where a realistic person isn't always exhibiting them to a T? And perhaps the enumerated functions are only so because of Jung's personal bias.
The bias in any of this, of course, is...
It would make more sense to think of them as a continuum, or as directions, like on a compass. That way only one graph would potentially be necessary for the entire system.
I've highlighted the functions of an INTP on this one for example:
The distance of each dot from the zero point could...
Hello, I've been wondering if anyone has successfully mapped the MBTI system into a functional graph where one's personality can be pin-pointed on.
I suppose that each of the letters could be considered as four axes, with E & I, N & S, T & F, and J & P as poles for each of the axes...
Actually, I'm moving on to squares. If geometric instability causes structures to collapse, then I would rather it happen behind me, rather than ahead.
I do appreciate your concern, though <3
LOL
...For the record, I use conditioner every time I shampoo, that being roughly every other day. But yeah, with short hair, I hardly notice a difference when I use hair products, but as i grow it out, it sort of becomes a necessity for me, otherwise my hair gets really oily and greasy. I...
(Made long because it's always nice to have descriptions for things rather than "listen to X. End of story." Also, the following is written towards those who are something of a noob.)
I second Behemoth and Meshuggah.
Behemoth is one of those bands which is big on their image, and while some...
The way your cube is set up now, each tetrahedron is composed entirely of either introverted, or extroverted points.
In line with the idea of the "Merkabah," to me it would make sense for the functions within any particular type to correspond to the tetrahedron's points (with the shadow...
Reminds me of this kid I went to summer camp with once. He was "Allergict" to peanuts.
I'm quite partial to dilacerate.
Yum.
Also, mind = blown upon discovery that neoplasm & pleonasm both exist.
I usually just go from one activity to the next; each one being an escape from the last.
Maybe lying in my bed & turning on some music qualifies in your sense?
Seems like a good idea to do it through a dedicated system like that, if for no other reason than the ease of set-up. Doing it entirely through the forum would likely require the creation of a new subforum, just to organise threads for discussion, book choosing, etc.
Not that that's a bad...
If I were you, I would put a big "DO NOT OPEN UNTIL AFTER YOU'VE WRITTEN YOUR RESPONSE" just above the spoiler tags in your latest thread.
...Just sayin' ;)
1. Octopus!
The octopus is like, such a cool animal, because, like, it has this really weird shape to it, first of all, and like, has all these legs and stuff. What's so totally cool about it though is that like, we look at these octopuses and we're all like "Hey dude, you got 8 legs. I bet you...
Inhale, produce a scathing demeanor, yell, scream, listen to music too loud and thrash my body around, become a disruption, break stuff, fantasize about inflicting pain, inflict pain, taking deep breaths, hiding under my covers, crying, sleeping.
What I find intriguing is the sort of link between
"• figurative - hard to understand because of complexity of ideas."
&
"• informal (of a person) stupid."
Calling someone "dense" as an insult is not merely to say "stupid", but has certain implications, in my opinion, which are identical...

"Friends" are easy to come by. Friends... not so easy.
What should my new avatar be?
you must be the most odiously lethargic person I have thus far encountered.
Maybe I should call up my aussie connections & send someone to slap you straight.
From my uneducated point of view:
Self-absorbtion is a highly introverted focus. Turning inwards, focus upon self, etc.
If they seek their self-worth from others, perhaps by being unbelievably outgoing or impressive, it doesn't change the focus of anything.
I have to ask, what makes you so...
