How do you define science and where would the scientific method fit into your definition? I think that psychology might be somewhat science-like in that experiments are done... I'm curious how this might influence your consideration of psychology as a science or not.

I have mixed feelings about robots, but I'm not afraid of them.

There are several drug therapies available for people to withdraw from opiates (Methadone is one example). I think that a combination of both drug therapy and a support system would probably be your best bet.
