  • Sorry to spam your wall, but this book looks very interesting and intriguing :D

I love being friends with graduate students! (lol)
    "bye bye career"

Ah, yes, back in the time when Jung did his own dissertation on Occult Phenomena. :P

Ye, I'm in my second semester second yr now. So boring. lol xD
ugh. reading just that, gives me a headache.

how/what are you working on/are you with your studies?
    lul.

You already know I'm not big on empiricism. (Not necessarily philosophically speaking, just as personally using it).

    So draining >_>
I didn't really bother to read the entire conversation, but Jung in one of his works (somewhere quoted in my Jung thread), explicitly calls the extraverted intuit the "stereotypical female" etc, with too many things on her mind and can't decide etc

aside from that, look at the pairings as well and what they represent in current/stereotypical culture

    Ne-Si (already discussed Ne above,) - Si - "maintaining...maintenance"

Ni-Se (Can't really speak on Ni, besides the single-mindedness) but Se obvious
Fifty self-flagellations with a wet noodle should assuage all signs of guilt. Bonus points for the admission.:D
One should always be drunk. That's all that matters; that's our one imperative need. So as not to feel Time's horrible burden one which breaks your shoulders and bows you down, you must get drunk without cease.
I feel drawn to rugged landscapes.

I admit that living in the states makes me farther away from everything on your continent. The plane trip over is 12 hours. Plus, I'm used to traveling long long distances just to visit friends. It's a 5 and 1/2 hour drive to my parent's place. I've driven from Alaska down through Canada and all the way over to Florida before. That was a 3 week drive. Granted we made a few stops along the way.
Our open relationship seems to have taken a twist. I wonder what Cheese thinks of this?

Not that it matters, I'd let latte sex-offend me any time :)
HA! Love the profile picture. That cat is plotting your demise.

I came to comment that your picture in Wales is fantastic. I'm officially pushing Wales up my list of places to visit. I've got tentative plans to visit Scotland in September. My trip is only for two weeks though. It's so hard to choose between museums and moors, castles and lochs, restaurants and mountains. *sigh* Honestly I may just wander off into the moors or mountains and simply never come back to my real life.
In the context of the image at the bottom half, if it's a fractal, how might synchronicity apply to extinction events?
    Interesting dreams.

I think dreams are a more concrete expression of what goes on in our subconscious selves. Sentiments and emotions that we do not necessarily vocalise internally or externally will bubble to the surface while we're least expecting it (asleep).

Surprise! It's your sub-consciousness speaking to you. HAHAH!

In that way, I think dreams actually have an extremely important function in making us becoming more aware of and thus able to assess what goes on in our 'real' minds. From these analyses we can build a path that may be more in harmony with our emotional and intellectual selves.

    As for synchronicity....hmmm...
no idea. I hope it's as brilliant as we imagine if we ever find out. the elevating and excitatory feel benefits of our perception of her grandness must not be compromised
    :D:D:D haha...

It's been stinking hot here, 40+ degrees, so I have been horizontally placed in vicinity of the air conditioner and not at all inclined to write PM's. It is going to be 43 degrees by the end of this week, ghah. My life consists of work and sleep at the moment, not very exciting. Feel like I have come to a standstill.

I kinda wish I was writing a PhD proposal :phear:...anything but this drudgery. I hope it's going well for you.
    Hahaha

Batman was disappointed to find his high-tech kevlar suit did not protect against pregnancy.
ebook as well. his illustrations are interesting in themselves, and so are his analyses of them.

Crowley, eh? THD gave me a few of his stuff. I do like the interplay of many people's psychologies/philosophies, as none of them seem to be mutually exclusive, but intertwined.
    Liber Novus/Red book CG Jung p. 199:

"I said to myself 'What is this I am doing, it certainly is not science, what is it?' Then a voice said to me, 'That is art.'"

    xD
You'd previously asked me to explain my experience of Ne. In the context of this post it's the deep, instinctual, powerful, intrinsic, dogmatic urge to rectify a possibility as true, and immediately knowing it is true, without a clear chain of causality. It is the urge to be all simultaneously by deriving meaning from all.
Congratulations Puffy, I always knew you would do really well :)

Time to let that curly shag out?:D
I think his spirit is channeled by this twitter feed.

And from what little I know about Bataille, he's all about filth and perversion. I read "The Story of the Eye" by him and it was plenty weird.
Yeah I leafed through S&S once but it was a while back.

Can't illegally download on my school's wifi or they'll call the feds :x The second link is good though, thanks.

Haha it's for a seminar course on popular culture. I'm still an undergrad lol :p

I might actually end up using Bataille though if I can find a good summary of his ideas. He's an interesting, albeit disturbing, guy.
Got any quick and dirty crash courses on Baudrillard (books or articles)? I'm writing a research paper on mass shootings in popular culture and figure he might have some applicable ideas.
thd says he can't even see my wall, and other people's VM walls that I post on can't reply back
so, I'm pretty sure no one can post on my VMs except mods... but i don't have that configuration active
"they eventually found a llama. Who, it turns out, was down to party."

Well of course it was. What did they expect? :D
    :ahh:

I was viewing "who is online" and there I see your name with big bold letters next to it saying unknown location

    sneaky, sneaky... :phear:
