What are some of the things/concepts that you can think about seemingly forever?

I was wondering what you thing about seemingly endlessly. For me, it is whether time is infinite or not. I would love to hear yours.

The disconnect of our minds as to what we believe to be reality. And how much of a piece of shit I am.

Why people moan so much about silly things of little consequence.

Hate to break it to you but time isn't infinite, as far as we know. The Universe will tear itself apart in some tens of billions of years and time will end.

I endlessly speculate about consciousness, I think it is the first and the last question we should be asking. My computational research plays into this which is a happy circumstance.

But will time continue after the universe itself?

I don't think so. I believe that the theorists who work in this area consider time to have started with the big bang and will effectively end.

Actually, they (random theorists and scientists) are currently testing a big bang ripple theory to determine if the Big Bang was in fact the first bang.

If time ends, what happens to all this matter? Do the electrons stop revolving? Does it all disappear? The theories are and will continue to be interesting but impossible to prove unless we can recreate the conditions in a lab. Sounds like a tough task.

I struggle thinking about time as a physical property. How is it more than one of our measurements? I get that in time, things come to life and die, the universe is in motion and all that but what is the physical property of it that could someday come to an end?

Sorry, I don't explain things well.

time travel and possible ways to escape from this universe since someday it will die. if some civilization wants to live forever they must know how to jump out universes or build one. so thats quite an universal concern, I wonder how many minds are thinking about it in this right moment throughout the cosmos.
