Hello. Going to be very blunt and honest:

I've been lurking around this site for awhile now (few weeks) looking through threads that might help with my diagnosis (INTP like a motherfucker..).

I suspect that I'm a genius and have been told as such.

I in large part keep others at arms length, when they get too close I cut them off.

Besides being the only INTP I've ever known (i think), I'm probably the only black INTP for miles. Why is that significant? I suspect black America is heavily populated by Js- probably just cultural. How I missed out on that J, no idea..

So this is like a haven for me, occasional J aside.

There's a lot of very bright people here so your intellectual needs might be well met - I certainly find it enormously stimulating (and considering I work in a university that says a lot!) although I would in no way describe myself as a genius! (My dad was though)
