The Star Game

The Star Game: all that has passed for humanity will be known, when this game is played, as no more than the conditions necessary for its genesis. That humanity was the condition which allowed The Star Game to be played will be humanity's justification, and the answer to the coward-existentialists of the 20th century.

The Star Game: two players, a condition which they work towards and which wins the game when met, and the cosmos as their arena. That is all.

The winner wins, the esoterikas win beautifully.

Any condition; that is its beauty, and that is how it operates as a measure of those who engage in. They will be revealed for what they are, and it will allow the living of a kind of being previously unseen on earth.

Examples:

Star Game: the destruction of a particular nation state. The players start without any resources in two countries of (mutually judged) equivalent political stability. Then they play. The winner ascends to monstrous heaven.

Star Game: the creation of a cult. How a player does this is a measure of their artistry. They could make anything; this condition creates a canvas unlike any available to the primitive representative artists who will be as babbling idiots before the master of this new, living art form. He who lusts for catastasis will be shown for the mundane he is-- he who orders protasis, epistasis, and catastasis as the steps of Jacob's ladder incarnate will be beheld as an embodiment of divinity on earth.

Star Game: the driving of one of two twins to suicide. This is for lesser players, who have not trained themselves to the level being necessary to engage in the former two. Still, though, it is a canvas with great potential.

Star Game: being featured as the headline in a specific newspaper. Once again: those who lust for catastasis may win, technically, but the player who embodies heaven on earth by this method is revealed by it in a way no context has previously provided the opportunity for.

Star Game: the destruction of a set percentage of humanity's population.

Star Game: the alteration of a single community (or system of any kind) towards a specific end, each defined for each player by himself. Or defined by the other, depending upon how the esoterikas decide to play.

Star Game: the creation, by whatever means, of a life form (or hybrid life-form and technological system) of human or beyond-human intelligence that is not human.

Star Game: subverted Buddhahood.

Star Game: anything.


Of course, a particular kind of character, and force of character, is needed to play anything but the simplest forms of this game. And a new, evolved kind of honour and kinship will be necessary for it to create the divine aristocracy (esoterikas) which it has the potential to create. That is already being taken care of: the Sevenfold Way's system is a training tool for players, and the means by which a game impossible for human who has not realised his potential becomes one's mother tongue.

Poetry is the highest alchemy. By it the amorphous hints of divinity, grace, and starlight which seduce from beyond the limits of consciousness become consciousness' new centre.

By it we may enter into a play formerly reserved for Gods. Gods who were really embodiments of a Sacred potential within ourselves, but too great to accept as our fate. By it the divinity which we have always known and feared that we can be, the grace which we cast out and imprisoned in imaginary Gods and Heavens, and the Starlight which never allows us to fully hide from ourselves amidst the darkness of mundane lives-- become us. It transmutes our lives into the alchemical gold we can be.

Poetry is the language of Gods, the tongue our descendants will, however long from now, know as their mother's.

The beauty that refuses to submit, the song sung against all-- all those putrid hordes-- who speak against man, who cage him, who sustain their ugly lives by becoming components in systems predicated upon him remaining blind to his future self. The song that will never cease, and that will, no matter how permanent they may think their mundane tyrannies are, ultimately be their end.

Remember, O man, that you are born of the earth and the starry heaven.

The thoughts on poetry expressed in the second above mine immediately came to mind when I heard Heidegger in quoting Goethe. It might be, though this is highly speculative, be motivated by a similar understanding. (If anyone were to know which of Goethe's writings the quoted passage comes from, I'd be glad to know.)

I have written down the part I'm referring to (the first 2 minutes), though I recommend watching it*:
"The notion of language as an instrument of information urges nowadays to the extreme. The relation of human being(s) to language is undergoing a transformation the consequences of which we are not yet ready to face. The ongoing of this process cannot be stopped by direct intervention. Besides, it is going on in the profoundest silence. Evidently, we have to state that language in everyday life appears as a vehicle for understanding and will be used as such a vehicle. But, there are other relations to language than the common ones. Goethe calls these other relations the 'deeper' ones and says of language: 'In normal life we make language work in a provisional way, because we are signifying just superficial relations. As soon as we speak of deeper relationships there comes up suddenly another language, that of the poetical.' "

I have, on occasion (and it must be on occasion, otherwise communication becomes difficult, if not impossible) been able to become aware of the 'superficiality' of common language. This awareness is a felt and, to that extent, an actual disintegration of language. It's a questioning as to the foundation of the word/s being uttered with regards to their meaning; what they are meant to signify and why. Not only, it often turns out, is the thing being signified, more often than not, ontologically unfounded or unbeknownst to the speakers, but the reason (motive) for it's signification, if it even can be called as such, is not the exchange of knowledge (of which, I dare say, very few are in the possession of), but the expression of desire, fear, social status and 'personal identity' where what is signified through the semantic of the word (as opposed to intonation, bodily expression etc.), if anything at all, is secondary, or even 'besides the point'. The latter might become apparent when you start to notice the parroting exchange of words, the former, when you examine, rather than rely on an intuited and, perhaps, mostly inherited ontological framework, the meaning of words in regular use such as 'is', 'meaning', 'identity', 'time' 'substance' and 'culture', realizing that, apart from a vague, but likely not an all together mistaken, intuition, you don't really know what they mean. If not a true knowing, at least the beginning of an understanding of what they mean would require tracing them back to their origins, most likely learning greek and latin, and an understanding of context through time, all of which is to say decades of hard study that may or may not satisfy true knowledge.
