Not professional quality songs. I lack the equipment needed. I started off making little compositions with MIDI, but later on, fooled around with ZynAddSubFx, and GuitarPro. They have slightly better synths. Anyways, I just have fun with them and fool around, I have finished some songs with an ending. All my songs need tons of work, but meh, I'm not too serious about finishing them. Each song is a learning experience.

I'm curious to what you guys think.

I agree. I've started off with interest in music as a kid. Later on, I've enjoyed learning guitar. Currently, stepping up to make compositions was exciting for me. I'm more interested in experimenting with music, than making a finished high quality song. I also lack money for high quality equipment. So, so far, I've just messed around with MIDI, ZynAddSubFx, and the synth that comes from GuitarPro. Most of my songs are really weak with the structure, and I don't have a well trained ear for mixing the songs well. It's all mostly an adventure to learn.

I don't have much reason of posting my stuff, other than to flaunt my limited success so far. Perhaps I could get a recommendation for software, or tools to help aid me. Any tips on mixing would be great as well.

What kind of equipment are you thinking of? You have a guitar, but lack the means to record it? Or are you thinking of just doing MIDI sequencing stuff?

Making music is the best thing.

But i think you are focussing on the wrong track.
Instead of upgrading your technological means of production every few months,
you should focus on utilizing the hardware you already have.
I wont be buying a CD of you because of the software you used to puff it up.
My opinion.

Mixing should be the least concern.

Is it hard to make these?

I made a track once in Magix. New age-like. Maybe when I get ADD meds I can get motivation again.
