I'm not even 100% sure if I'm an INTP. But assuming I am, they are as follows:

- Happiest as a leader
- Happiest when I can plan things out and make things happen. (Important things, not merely cleaning the house, which I don't care about enough to do)
- Painfully aware of my weaknesses
- Not very confrontational (not because I care about harmony for its own sake or because I care about butthurtedness. It's for self-preservation reasons.)
- Impatient with rambling and nitpicking
- Goofy sense of humor
- Humble. If I'm not 100% on something and the other person challenges me, I'll usually assume I'm the one that's wrong.
- Don't consider myself intelligent at all. (I do brainless shit all the time, like forgetting to lock the door.)

You sound a little like an INTJ. Maybe you could try looking into it?

And intelligence has nothing to do with forgetting to lock the door! Einstein did many scatter brained things.

I can sometimes, in the right mood, be quite social and enjoyable in group conversations.
I like following fashion a little as well. Preferably standing out a little, but not looking ridiculously trying-hard-to-be-seen. Just... Neatness, mostly, I guess.

I have a pretty well developed F side, because both of my parents are very strong feelers. So for an INTP, I'm quite whiney and emotional. Sometimes resembling an INFP. This is mainly in social situations. In situations of absolute chaos I will try to stay as calm as possible and solve everything rationally.

Feelers are whiny in social situations? I'm not sure I have ever noticed that. I know they are pretty easy to make angry in conversation and in an argument, no amount of logic will bring them to your side. :P

I do enjoy socializing, but only in select settings. Mainly the bar I frequent. I'll talk to anyone there. I've described myself as introverted there, and the people that have never seen me elsewhere are very incredulous. However, outside places where I'm comfortable, I'm pretty much a stereotypcial INTP, apparently.

It appears some lesser know INTP-ness is coming out in this thread. I think some traits we think are uncommon among us may be more characterstic.

I don't like math.

I hate math too.

I have a good social face that I put on when I absolutely need to.

I like to stay up to date in fashion, and I care how I look like when I go outside, just to be presentable.

I also care about how I dress, and I do have a "social face" I put on, when necessary.

From what I've seen from other INTP's mine would most likely be the inferiority complex I have. I feel as if everyone is better then me or smarter then me. Definitely not much an ego here.

I think deep down, our personality in general berates us a good deal more than other types as far as our standards for intelligence. I totally relate to feeling completely stupid in some subjects...chemistry especially.

Occasionally being the life of the party. People are always confused when I show up and just like to hang back, or not go meet every single person observe like an intp does. I either must be at center stage alone or just in the background.

Yes, happens to me all the time.

That happens with me sometimes, but I usually need time to 'recharge' afterward depending on how long it happened.

Yes, every time I'm around groups of people.

And lastly, adding to INTP TRAITS, we all seem to be overly obsessed with this: :elephant::elephant::elephant::elephant::elephant::elephant::elephant::elephant:

I hate math.

I like deducting everything in a mathematical way as well though. It just doesn't make sense...
I used to hate math too and i am deducting everything in a mathematical way too but what has changed is that since i have new teacher for math i like it and have no problems with that. I am not not sure if he is INTP too but most likely yes and i think that is next reason why i like his lessons so much.

How weird. I'm only mediocre interested in math. I do not like algebra, but I remember my math techer used to bring me up in front to explain geometry problems, as many of the others didn't get it. I didn't study it even. I just read the description and the principles was clear. Later the elimination method was among my favourites. Starting with a mess, and boil down to a solution.

I wish there was more room for creativity. To invent. All this theory, although excellent, is like being a robotic car mechanic. Doesn't fuel my imaginary need for creative passion. Perhaps with about a 100 more points of IQ or something.
i think creativity is great. My teacher usually knows what i know. I did never study math too in fact usually what i can remember i didn´t study anything we have been learning at school it usually ended up like teacher speaking and me reading for example about Fibonacci number. If i ever really studied for school then it had to catch my interest and it almost never happened and when did then i didn´t have to study it at all.

It's because we do figuring out systems and using logic. Maths just happens to be a good example of that so it tends to be associated with us. Maths is all about the logic.

I tend to put a lot of value in certain things. It's a deep, personal kind of value. I also treat inanimate objects as if they are sentient and people as though they are things. I'm perfectly happy to talk to something - for example, I'll tell my car off if it doesn't have power in a gear when it should. By treating people as though they're things, I mean I'm impersonal; if I can't remember their name I'll call them 'person', him/her or it.

Dimensional Transition, at the very start of the thread: I think what you're describing there is basically Fe? There could be other components ofc, but anw - I can relate too, and a small crowd... seems iNtp'nough.

I'm kind of shallow. I think and act sometimes more like an INTJ than an INTP. I like to work out and watch my body improve.
