Music industry makes many changes decade by decade.

In my country, in the last 2 decades, it has changed its stream from rock band, pop band, pop-jazz, pop-melayu and nowadays, boyband music concept reaches its popularity.

in the mean time, "dangdut", a popular music amongst Indonesian natives, never lose its fanbase although the music industry never stop its changes.

Once I heard there's an American singer sings it and take it as professional career but I never imagined it really reaches international scope.
