So to make a long story short. I figured out just how socially awkward I am earlier today. I started googling about being extraverted, but then (to my dismay) I realized that conversation is not a formula or an equation. In my search I saw this personality test being mention and I took it, got an INTP, (edit: little ahead of myself there, I tested INTJ, but I am certainly INTP) read the description and said, "holy crap that's so me."

So now I'm here, excited to talk to people who may or may not be just as crazy as I am :D

oh and:

I live in Cleveland
I'm a male
I'm single and at the same time unavailable. Sorry ladies.
I talk to myself out loud, a lot :/

And I posted this thread much too late (or early) so it'll be awhile before I get back on, but I'm very happy to be here.

LOL. Nice title. XD

And I kinda got here the same way you did except that I tested as an INTJ at first.

As did I, but reading the description something felt a bit off. As I was browsing for differences between P and J I stumbled across this site, clicked on the "You know you're an INTP when..." topic, and saw this:

5.If wikipedia was a person, you would marry it. If possible, you would download the internet into your mind.(and have probably tried)

And I knew you people were my people.

OK, and I did way too much research. :D

And welcome. :D

Thanks :)

I'm not telling you, stalker! :P
Funny. None of the descriptions in the "You know you are an INTP thread" fit me, but the INTP description was the only thing that fit me.

I knew I was an INTP because the INTP description had fit me the best.

Can't be. How long was the thread?
I don't know. But none of them fit me. I did however, test several times as INTP, INTJ, and INFP. Even one time as ISTP.

Ugh.

I guess I could relate to the thread to some degree, but never as extreme as you guys. It's probably because my Fe and Ne are more developed than all of you guys, and my Ti less so, so I don't really relate to you guys in that level. I find that I use my Ti unconsciously however weird that may be, so most of the things you guys post up there are things that I don't think I do but later find out that I do, but still, none of the things you guys posted up there really fit with me. I think my Si has something to do with it.

in my head
I took the MBTI test for the first ime when I was around fourteen and came up INTP. I was tested again in high school and again, came up INTP. While in a college psychology class, my professor asked me if I had ever been typed and I said sure. She tested me anyway and, once again, INTP( I was the only INTP she had ever met. ) I dunno, I think I be an INTP.

Anyway, welcome to the fold.:smiley_emoticons_mr

I read somewhere that INTPs aren't that interested in sports. Was that the nerd who wrote that article's opinion or is the obsessive love of sports a personal choice?

Well, I love sports. I particularly enjoy basketball, tennis, and both american and world football.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

I talk to myself all the time. That guy who wanders around with a shopping cart full of crap mumbling to himself is me.

:pueh:

Well. Come.

INTJ? It's ok, no one can be perfect.
