As a random comment to some people who hate popular music: when it comes to auto-tuned music or whatever pop song that happens to be "catchy", I don't hate it just because it is mainstream. After all, music can be so subjective, something that is catchy to one person may not be to another. And who is to say which person's "taste" is better? If one song is immensely popular, then there must be something about that that made it sound good to many people.

However, the thing that sets apart "music that pisses me off" and "music that is okay/good" for me is mainly the lyrics => if the song is about slappin hos and cheating on girlfriends and sexy booty, then I get very annoyed.

If it is an auto tuned song with party-like beats but about life and deep stuff, then I could still like it.

As for your second song, I found it irritating beyond belief. As for the first one you said you dislike, I kind of liked it. Mind you, there may be a bit of bias due to a bunch of attractive girls seductively dancing around in extremely short shorts... the sex appeal may just make the song sound better. Take your pick, but from my perspective, I liked the first one.

Meh, I don't really think there is a real "Worst Music Ever". This belief probably stems from the fact that I know that the music I absolutely love annoys the heck out of others. Music is too based in opinion for there to be one that is truly the worst...

Side note: What's with everyone hating on auto-tune? I don't see any problem with it.

Haha, without getting into a highly semantical disscussion on what I presume is a silly, silly thread for delightful, silly people, I meant that they sound generic meaning they're no worse than most things I've heard of the genre. :P

I will get flamed for this one. But i loathe it.

I need music that fits my emotions or mood, but this I just can't understand how anyone would ever have this sort of emotional state. Lyrically its babble. I think society is weakened but allowing people that feel like this to exists. Sorry.

It reminds me of the smith's song hang the dj. Where they say the music says nothing to me about my life. That is this song for me. I just can't understand who would feel this way.

Is it sad that I know who Minnie Moni is and was a huge fan of theirs when they were still together?
Also, their group was aimed at young kids, and well... YOGABA GABA, anyone? I think the more brightly colored, the more appealing it is to kids... I guess.
