I've read that both Olsen twins were INTPs. If so, I would like to meet them. Something about having an easy conversation that only an INTP can have with another INTP with the Olsen twins appeals to me.
I don't know any INTP celebrities so I don't know if I'd like to meet them. However if I met one, I might change my mind.I've read that both Olsen twins were INTPs. If so, I would like to meet them. same here.I don't know any INTP celebrities so I don't know if I'd like to meet them. However if I met one, I might change my mind.
You are an INFP? What do you think you're feeling? I'll bet you a penny we'd be terrified to meet so great a man as Abraham Lincoln.Living? That's tough.
Non-living would be Abraham Lincoln hands-down.. admired him ever since I was 9.
I don't know any famous INTPs living. You know something trippy, though.. most of my favorite fictional and real people growing up turns out are INFPs just like me.![]()
Someone posted he was a "J" but I forget where.I know that George Carlin died a few years ago but was he an INTP?
Norton = INTJ here:The Olson twins come across as bubble-heads to me so that's surprising. Their biggest venture is a fashion line aside from kid movies.
Apparently J.K. Rawling is an INTP. That would be someone worth meeting.
Got it! Edward Norton. Mmm, yes please.
Non-living would be Abraham Lincoln hands-down.. admired him ever since I was 9.
NOT J.K. Rowling.
Harry Potter pisses me off.
Definitely, although I find it interesting to imagine how Voldermort exists in her mind, I know when I've got a story in mind the characters "walk with me" like they're following me around and talking to me from just out of sight; which I know sounds mental but I'm sure I'm not the only one who does it.J.K Rowling comes across as an INFP.
I know Brent Spiner is INTP, so he's high on my list.
Also, people have speculated that Richard Dawkins may be INTP.
If that's the case, I'd love to meet him as well.
Beyond that, I can't think of many "living" INTP celebrities.
The bold part is the paradox.
INTP = celebrity? Not usually.
We're aimed in other directions.
If you find an INTP who has found prominence, I would suggest it would be in fields like:
- science
- math
- writing
- computers
Thus, not a typical "celebrity" with a social persona.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Tiger Woods is an INTP. But with the recent sex scandal and all, I'm doubting this.
I saw that too. Why does that make you doubt his INTP? INTP's are not flawed? Not sexually driven? I disagree. I know many people hate him for different reasons, but I totally see some of myself in him. Not in all ways of course (he is way more ambitious, driven and has an amazing work ethic and manages his career/social/media very well...other than that one incident). But I see similarities nonetheless, particularly his hidden emotions and keeps his deeper self within his inner circle and plays his cards close to his chest...a very private person, a perfectionist, intelligent, imaginative blah blah. In fact, I find the whole sex scandal even more revealing of being INTP. In reality he is more of a nerdy shy type and pretty deep I would say. Love him or hate him, he is a genius and amazing athlete.
It's no secret you have to maintain a public image when you have a billion dollars in sponsorships and are a role model. I always thought he was too good to be true in that respect. It's kind of refreshing to see he is actually human, but I can empathize with him to some extent. Despite him doing something bad, its got to really blow having to play it out publicly like that no matter who you are.
Anyone with that kind of money, fame and temptation who didn't cheat or do some of the things he did would be a saint...almost unhuman. It's easy to judge seeing what you see on TV. I never understood why sex is demonized so much more than drugs, alcohol and other self destructive behaviour/abuse/addiction.....yet as a society we almost praise the likes of Denis Rodman or others who have fallen into an abyss in stark comparison and call them heroes. Maybe I am more forgiving of sexual deviancy than drugs/booze, because that was more my drug than the latter. I have never had a lot of sympathy for junkies and alcoholics. I guess that's just America.
