What's sexy about an INTP?

How can you expect anyone else to love you if you don't love yourself ?

(considering writing a whole trail of ideas about mirror-neurons and the tendency of people to desire most the people who seemingly have little investment in themselves. That is to say, Girls love cool guys, cool means being the one who's least affected by the other person's reactions/responses...basically being self-amused, etc. etc. which I actually think is easier if you're not dependent upon other people to feed you good emotions, and feel comfortable with yourself. (granted, some introverts do get shy, but I don't really buy into the whole Introversion=shyness. I know extraverts, people who actively Need to have social stimulus in order not to get depressed, who are shyer than I am, and I couldn't really give less of a fuck what people think of me when I'm out with my friends. ))

maybe "self-loving" was the wrong term. the point i was trying to make was, we are posting what we find sexy about our own type (the INTPs at least) and that this question would be more beneficial to us if it was asked to other types. to hear what others think about us. as opposed to hearing what we find attractive about our own type.

Make a thread : What is not sexy about an INTP, what do you hate about an INTP (not about being one), or something among those lines, and see how that ends up. I think we can be both praising and mean about ourselves. (sometimes at the same time! ) I also think that's a rather INTP-ish caracteristic.

believe me, i think that thread would have greater success than this one!

what i meant was that for the most part, we've been saying that we're sexy because we have that "don't give a fuck" attitude and that aura of mystery. im just wondering if thats because we're intp's and thats what we admire about ourselves. hearing from other types would be a lot more useful, i think. im just not up to make such a thread

I'm not so sure that indifference is a universal INTP trait. I've got it when it comes to events and situations except for interpersonal ones. I have such a hard time trying to figure out what the other person is feeling since it doesn't come naturally, and I judge myself primarily on how I think others perceive me.

Only thing I can think of is that we're private and mysterious (Generally). In my experience women love the "chase."
Not sure how males are attracted to female INTPs. I don't know any to have any insight into that.

I would add, that as an INTP woman, I refused to chase.

Mr INTJ says it was the fact that I was the only person who completely shut down his argument with one scorching line. And the fact that I was clearly not interested in what other people thought about me, especially him.

the alien look. The huge head and skinny body. It's very exotic.

I am dark black, reasonably muscular(Although I don't recall excercising a day in my life). In short, I look like a reject linebacker. Does that count?
