She was a christian (angel). I was struggling with faith at the time. I said I believed to her all the while not really being sure of it (worlds apart we were the same). "Maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm weak, maybe I'm blinded by what I see" (I struggle with mental illness as you know. Blinded by her influencing if I actually believe or not and the struggle of that.) "you wanted a soldier, but it wasn't me" She was attracted to intelligent men who were well accomplished in the world (in other words, INTJs). Pretty much all the lyrics in the song work out that way for me.
