I thought it was hilarious, although i agree the realism was a bit off. And she's lucky she just got thrown off the plane, rather than tossed in jail, considering the way people are nowadays.
I enjoyed recognizing the catty stuff, like when the two adversaries try to one-up each other on toasts at their shared-friend's pre-party. Ouch. That part unfortunately tends to be realistic, although usually people don't do it so overtly.
