what happens when an intp gets an unquenchable dying passion to finish one goal?
ever happen to any of you guys?
ever happen to any of you guys?
adymus is an intj! lol my thread was a P/J filter
jk jk its not but that sounds very disciplined of you adymus planning and hopefully executing your plans how often do you make plans?
now that question is P/J filter
guys, fellow lazy intps, underachievers, it is easy to get into that state of mind of productivness without snorting adderall. all you have to do is think one thought, one desire over and over again.

I tell you what... Lady Luck favours the bold (and lazy). It turns out my lecturer was off ill and so my presentation has been postponed![]()
We stop at nothing to achieve our goal even if it involves clubbing baby seals to death.![]()

Bad conscience...I can't remember clubbing any baby seals to death lately. Is that faulty memory or bad conscience?
Warranty void if seal is broken. You are clearly trying to make a fraudulent warranty claim after breaking your seals.I can't remember clubbing any baby seals to death lately. Is that faulty memory or bad conscience?
It becomes an obsession. I'll plan an entire week around finishing a goal, starting as soon as I wake up, and staying up late working on it. Apetite, need for sleep, friends, family, all of that is ignored until I am done.
3 hours straight.

The unstoppable object smashes the Immovable object to pieces.what happens when an INTP gets motivated?
the same thing that happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
yeah.
Most likely scenario is he gets over it in a couple hours or days.
I'm trying to remember any circumstances where I wasn't motivated. I think it had something to do with not being involved. Get involved and one is motivated one way or the other. Could that be the truth?Ah. I can't remember the last time I was motivated for anything...![]()
I've had semi-motivation. Even that was somewhat interesting, but it did not last long.Has this ever happened to anyone here? If so, I really want to know what it was about.
I pick up your post which I think deserves answering. I don't have a finished answer though. A question is, if INTP's are so skilled, why do they fail to come up with results when they fail?It will result in amazing things. Most mostly mind-bending paradoxes that will tear away the very fabric of the universe.
Seriously. I KNOW INTP's have far more capabilities and power than anyone gives them credit for, even other INTP's. If it were possible to uninhibitedly tap into the raw brainpower and problem-solving areas in which INTPs excel in, a number of the world's problems could be fixed in the most efficient way possible in a short amount of time. The truth is that no problem, regardless of how complicated it is, is only a chaotic system whose entire purpose is to be organized (or vice-versa). The amazing thing about INTPs is their ability to look at a problem as nothing more than it is; to be able to see into the heart of it and tear it apart to derive a solution. Quite unsettling, if you think about the amazing (and terrible) things an INTP could accomplish. If this is applied to real-time situations, the possibilities are almost endless. I am currently working on this, and will let you guys know when my work comes to fruition (yes, doing something unnatural requires some work, and I think that is why most INTPs don't even bother). I think the results shall be rather satisfactory. If such potential could be tapped, knowledge and ability in any number of subjects and situations could be greatly multiplied in a fraction of the time.
Hell, I don't know. Is there any option in your thoughts which involves the collection of the right amount of data?I pick up your post which I think deserves answering. Although INTP's have the problem solving skills, data input to the problem is required. One can collect too little data or too much. The latter is hard to sort. If the latter, one is overwhelmed. If the former, some sort of action is required to get hold of the missing data. That is where INTP's fall short. They are poor at action.
What do you think?
