Coming from a religious background I always wanted to ask people this question. What do people generally do on a Sunday if they don't go to church?

My guess is that it's mostly a family time kind of day? (which in itself is sort of like a church-like activity if you think of it that way)

the sacrifice of fresh vegetables, or elderly goats, are traditional ways to pay homage to Ra.

I am not one for tradition though, croissants and the left eyeballs of fruitbats are therefore suitable replacements.

I park down the road from Rook's place for a couple of hours and watch fruit bats fly in circles.

Usually Sunday is my recovery day. I don't generally make plans or seek out much in the way of social interaction.

I usually sit in the bushes across the road from Bad Itch parked down the road from Rook's place, scribbling down all he does in my tiny notebook while drinking iced tea

Wait, do you mean the bushes in the front yard of the abandoned house with the burned-out VW bus in the driveway that I'm living out of, posting live YouTube feeds from?

We're on!

I'll make flapjacks.

My kids are no longer at home.
So Sunday is just another Saturday -- except with the growing realization that Monday is coming. :(

Yeah, most likely a family meal.

Chill and sleep.

Sunday is the day of rest, after all.

This is what you wonder about? It's a weird question. What do you think people do? It's basically Saturday 2: The Sequel.

Talking of churches... I tour these around the UK.

Most are satanic, never mind 'Christian'. The most satanic yet probably being the one I went to today being; 'The Holy Trinity' in Stratford Upon Avon, devil symbolism everywhere, begs belief.

Although I've not yet toured Scotland in person ; bet that has NUFF to see. All our 'churches' are glorified Masonic Guild Halls.

I kid you not.

Well, 'Satanic' meets 'Egyptian' ...

Nothing but Sun worship.

EVERYWHERE.

Proof is there for all to see.

House of the rising sun/son. Is it a brothel, or a church? Is it Christian, or is it Egyptian?

I usually work. Which is weird, because a few years ago I refused to work since I thought sunday to be the Sabbath. Gotta keep it holy, yo. I would spend the morning at church and the afternoon with cult people, talking about the bible and our lives.

My girl friend works weekends normally, so I just rather work on days she is out of town. Hell, I would work all day on most weekends if it weren't for companies trying very hard to keep people from getting over time pay. I really hate overtime pay. It makes me less marketable. I would gladly work 50 hours a week. But no, the federal government thinks I'm a pussy and need higher pay to work more than 40 hours. Fucking democrats.

But yeah, I work, and if I do get the day off I try to garden and work on making my parent's yard look nicer. They neglected it for years so I like to spend time using it as an experiment for when I get my own place.

Jesus is in my heart. I don't need to go to church and sing mostly doctrinelly unsound songs in a rock concert for old people just so I can meet with him.

I hang out in my DIY hot air balloon taking pictures of Minu in the bushes across the street from Bad Itch parked right by Jenny's Youtube van down the street from Rook's place.

?

It's literally the exact same as any other day. When I was employed I went to work. Now that I'm not employed for the month, I do the same thing every day (ie. try and entertain myself enough to justify my continued existence which ends up looking something like watching K-dramas all day while shitposting on social media (and here) and then going to friends' houses to get drunk).

same thing we do everyday pinky, try to take over the world

God dammit I wanted to say this.

On usual Sundays, I try to get outside, meet with friends or work on personal projects.

My employer rewards me with a 3 day weekend once a month, so that's when I try to get out of the city and go to the mountains or to the coast or something.

Visit family, sleep-in, do housework, burn down churches, watch a movie, play video games, run over some missionaries, bake a cake, do a workout.

You know, the usual Sunday stuff.

Nothing special, nothing interesting.
