<--- That.

Seriously, all of us.

are hot

handsome.

you mean attractive and mysteriously charming and witty?

Eyebags getting worse.
Literally NEVER do my hair.
I usually have a good sense of fashion... sometimes it's horrible.

Over half the population of guys in this world would have those aspects above.

Facial features? Genetics please... And it's way too broad (INTP category)

INTps are often active in business and commercial matters. They have good abilities to quickly calculate profit. Usually they are relaxed and only undertake projects that show considerable return and profit. They are not afraid to run big businesses. Usually INTps are very economical. They do not like to make presents or lend money to others. Because of this quality they usually try to appear poorer than they actually are. However when it comes to spending money on themselves, they can be very generous.

How is this possible? Don't we all have a strong sense of justice and are mostly against brain-washing commercials? I hate this description. It does not fit me at all, I don't like economy, 'businessmen' etc. at all! I'm good at economy at school, but I still don't like it. I would prefer to have a job in the art/design region.
The rest of that description seems about right though.

But ahem, back on topic. Dark circles around eyes because of lack of sleep. Clothing may vary dramatically. I like to dress tidy and a bit eccentric. Others here appear to not care about their clothes. Usually a neutral to sad face, may frown quite often. Head sticking forward(probably because of being nosy and sitting behind a computer a lot).

Not all business is bad. The perspective it's taking is that of, say, 1900s-1950s Conservatism. The perspective people are going in with when reading those descriptions includes notions of megacapitalism, secret societies and the Fed, those are Republican ideals mixed into a Democratic government.

Before even learning of Socionics, I noticed that I had a passion for history(wars and WWII especially), and I easily passed my social science classes, with a smile. My economics/government teacher was one of the few people I respected at my old high school.

The most common area that INTPs are associated with is the physics / computer (but that maybe because it is common nowadays) and possibly artistic (if you are a 5w4) but marketing/business/advertising... REALLY? I would say that's just based on interest. This is too ambiguous.

When you describe yourself I think of a black man...

Same.... I'm a bit eccentric.

I see. But I still don't count history as economics, really. Maybe it's my lack of knowledge of the English language. I associate economy with wall-street crashes, lots of people caring only about money, etc etc. Of course, this is generalized information. But I wouldn't see all of you working in that kind of world. Like nyaneko said, it's probably just what you're interested in as INTP.

@nyaneko: I've been told quite often that I might be a black man on the inside, haha.

Uhh... History and Economics is really... different... I don't know which one I would prefer (as a friend). People that take history must take credit for knowing such vast knowledge, but really? I am a very realistic and cruel person.

You going to be a historian? Where's your money going to come from? Either you're going to be one in a million that becomes the famous historian or write a book or be a teacher or a professor (university lecturer)... But those that do take history must have a good memory and interest.

Economics... Well... The thing is it's a current thing. Theories always change and the theories are actually slightly interesting (I took it in high school) but it's trying to solve a problem that will never be solved. It's merely helping our current economic situation which makes it more helpful I guess. The situations are well investigated as the idea of the movement of money and anything you can buy with money is generated by humans and able to make our future better.

If you're a historian... not as helpful for the future... Unless... someone can enlighten me.

The funny thing is that INTPs here constantly cite sites about INTPs being great at mathematics and engineering and loving it, but most entries here are for psychology and philosophy and opt against STEM fields. I've read a lot of intros and self-descriptions, and the general consensus is that math pretty much sucks, though is respectable.

Psychology, philosophy, history, economics, government etc on the other hand are like a walk in the park, though only the first two have I seen proposed here.

That's the same thing I keep saying! But in all seriousness, thank you. I like it when people say it, because I'm usually just acting stuck up because I find it amusing for some reason.

I was very surprised as well when I noticed very few are interested in those. I don't want to speak for everyone, but I know I love working with theories and concepts. ISTPs would probably make better engineers.

What's possible is people are picking engineering over those other fields because of the money and it seems to be a safer option. Perhaps if they put more thought into what they actually enjoy doing...

It's not so much about how they look as how they wish to be seen.

How they portray themselves, their care (or lack thereof) to their physical manifestation and the little moments of frosty inactivity that reveal more about their twisted psyche than they'd ever come round to sharing willingly after a lifetime of questioning.

You're more funny than the usual INTP. (?) If I said something like that and I was you then I would have meant it to amuse others amuse myself and hope that I believe that I am actually hot and hence... if you believe you become. Hopefully. But that's not always true. Sigh. I don't know if you meant it that way or just meant it just for jokes. ... I think I took this issue too seriously. Meh.

ISTPs are more realistic, INTPs are dreamers. It depends. On "mypersonality.info" they say ISTPs are craftmen and INTPs are engineers.. They are saying that being an INTP with broader imagination your concepts are not restraint and maybe more able to "invent" new things... etc... but as an engineer... ISTPs maybe better as they are more realistic and better at simple day to day normal issue problem solving.

Uh... No.
My older sister (INTJ) just told me to go stand in front of it.

We have trees like that all over New Zealand (and tree trunks). It was probably most likely a Rimu.

Realised you're an NZer by your name... I grew up in NZ.

hmmm i dont understand why Socionics is being treated like the Earth revolves around the Sun. I look exactly like that.

Except for the fact that I actually have cheekbones but my nose is just too long.

dark circles and eye bags that never go away
curved back
i dont comb
i dont know what is mismatched because jeans make everything look great

other than that I appear to be very Socionic INTp in appearance.

Aside for foot wear, I have a pair of Nike Air Force 1 Premiums in Forest Green. Friends advice. I hate wearing shitty footwear I got nice socks too.

circle around eyes, good one. are most of us insomniacs? I never feel tired and operate on around 3-4 hours of sleep. Also non of my clothes match. I have a gray hoodie with a red hat and a green scarf. I were mostly black t-shirts cause it makes matching easier

I'm not insomniac, at all.. I'm lethargic. That is caused by me staying up late and then sleeping for ages, though. But I'm not staying up late because I can't sleep, I'm staying up because I get sucked in to whatever it is that I'm doing.

I don't like nikes because most people I see wearing them look very unfriendly or are trying really hard to fit in and be popular. And they're way too expensive. You can buy good boots and shoes anywhere from 25-60 euros.

Depends what age you are... And depends how delicate your feet are. There are other brands that maybe good for your feet but...

people and culture around me and my age... wearing nikes adidas is like.. your average footwear.. other people wear vans (which is eww) but yeah.. converse.. as well.. ew...

and i do fit in... and i wear plain clothing... sometimes simple pattern but never... prints or a picture. i don't wear anything over the top....

I wear converse/vans-type shoes. But barely the real brands because you can get the same comfortableness for like half the price. I'm cheap-ass when it comes to stuff like this.

I wear Newtons to train for barefoot running. Soon I want to move on to Vibrams. If I could afford to spend a little extra cash, I'd get them now and walk around eveeryywhere with them and climb things all the time.

I just wear, well, shoes... :slashnew:

Cheap-o moi buys from the thrift shop, where the non-branded vintage trainers and eager boots huddle in mass confusion, awaiting a hand to pluck them from the chaos and apply them to that which is generally termed a 'foot', in English.

Otherwise, something on topic, I'm rather petite, rather slim, with dark circles, pale skin, messy thick brown hair, a sideways bored mouth-expression, faraway deepset eyes, quirked eyebrows, an arched back, and an almost always relaxed and open jaw. I seem to have conformed in some way. Blah.

An engineer is always looking to improve/make more efficient systems, methods, etc. I think INTPs are referred to as the engineers because that is exactly what they do--but with ideas and concepts and not so much physical entities.
Hence why it'd make more sense to work in philosophy, psychology, politics, etc. Those allow for more big picture thoughts where as engineers often focus on specifics.

Lol before I dropped out I was majoring in engineering.

Well, Ni-hao, I'm a stingy asian bastard. But there are things each individual is not stingy about. Such as... There are many problems associated with your feet and knees. You could get fucked up feet, fucked up knees when you are older. But it depends how roughly made you are. I think I'm more delicate. Certain muscles of my feet hurt after I walk in half an hour in shitty shoes. So I usually wear comfortable shoes. Nike Airs are kinda heavy... but they are okay because they wrap around your feet well and so it's not that heavy when you physically walk in them. On the other hand, Vans and Converse have a heavy plastic base and made of fabric on top...

Interesting. Well, I think INTPs can sway a lot of ways. It just depends on personal interest. Like... I like maths, physics... but I can play some instruments... Have thought of taking psychology and crap (hence this INTP crap)...

I often find that the truth works better as a comeback, for some odd reason, than does sarcasm. In any case, thank you, for you are correct on almost all points except that you suck shit at comebacks, as you do not, honestly. Yet... nor also do you ever suck shit, I would hope?

Well, you see. I don't know any truths about anyone on the internet. Do I? It's kinda hard. But I see where you're coming from. It's rather burn to state the truth as a comeback. Oh, you can interpret the 'suck shit' as a figurative or literal meaning yourself. I'm quite neutral on that matter.

Just got here, so I'm not going to post a photo yet.

I have three striped sweaters, all black or gray, that I wear over colorful undershirts. I wear simple, classic sneakers and jeans that fit. I shave every other day and shear my hair with dog clippers once a month or so. My posture is excellent from squats/deadlifts and I have some tattoos that are visible when I'm in short sleeves.

I do the half smirk/half frown quite often and habitually chew on my lips when thinking.

Circles under the eyes: check.
Wardrobe: aggressively generic. Jeans, white or black polo shirts, plain white sneakers (dull white, not shiny arctic white). A range of pullovers in various shades of grey or other dull, dark colors for cooler days. Alternatively: plain business shirt, suit trousers, unmemorable office shoes that are not too shiny. Tie missing if at all possible.

I don't like wearing anything which has a brand name showing or is patterned. My idea of a bold fashion statement is a pen visible in a shirt pocket.

I confuse people because I don't look my type.
My back is perfectly straight. I'm slender but physically strong. I thrive on physical labor. I easily cover miles on foot even across rough terrain.
What I don't have in raw power I make up for in sheer endurance. I tolerate extremes of climate well, especially the cold.
I get severe cabin fever without regular exercise.

I might have some wardrobe problems but I just let my girlfriend buy me clothes.

I get complimented a lot on my looks by girls, but I still have the social skills of an INTP.

I am often tired during the daytime because I love the night. So perhaps I do often have the dark rings.

Tall (little over 6') thin (around 150 ibs) hair is always uncombed (goes back to messy even if I comb it so why bother?) I always where jeans and some type of hoodie (normally black).
I have circles under my eyes because I normally don't sleep very well.

Well apparently we all have many of the same traits.. well most of us :p

I am 174 centimeters tall , and I have a semi-long hair with curls. I simply love nights, and even more, nights were I am all alone in the dark; I am pale and I have dark eye sockets because of the awful bedtimes I keep. I am rather muscular.
I am almost always staring with my right eye , where my left seems more normal. People often say I look sleepy or similar, but fact is I am just walking in my own world far too often, and that makes me forget things like focus :p I have facial hair, as I don't care much for shaving; I am too lazy to go that much in detail when it comes to my own looks :p

I don't smile all that often . . but whenever I hear a funny joke or an intelligent and funny remark, I tend to twist my lips just a little

Average height. 5'4". Long curly brown hair. Brown eyes. I tan easily in the summers. Sometimes dark rings. I love early mornings and late nights. Roundish-features. 140 lb, rather athletic, in JROTC. I wear whatever I feel like -- typically sweaters, tights, any weird combination I feel like. Glasses. I talk fast.

A parallel dimension of a thinker's creation
Interesting ideas as it does seem people that fit into a one of those groups which name i forget but starts with a C. Oh wait im off topic. So back to wait i was saying people that hang out together withs similar personalties do seem to look alike im not sure if this is a coincidence or on purpose.

You mean cliques?

Oh, I dunno about appearance. I just wear jeans and a T-shirt, and that always seems to fit the weather. If it's fifteen below or something like recently, I'll add a coat. *shrugs*

I've got really long hair and square glasses, though, and I'll stare you out over the top of them if you bug me. The people in my middle school nicknamed it the "snake eyes" look once. I thought this was hilarious.
