I study the Old Testament as a part of my history degree. There's one line of Ozymandias's which is quoting a menotaph ,which references Israel in 1300 BCE[ish], it's the earliest reference, outside the Bible, that we have to Ancient Israel. It says something along the lines of 'Israel's seed is wasted'. Fact for the day.
