Valentines day really means nothing to me. Everyone i know seems to be obsessive with drama filled relationships anymore so i honestly didnt notice until two days ago that today was anything "special". Being that relationships fill me with a writhing dread altogether today is no worse than any other day. As a matter of fact today has been better as i have been able to escape said drama because im not forced to attend school. So technically i have enjoyed my lonely V-day.

My V Day was very exciting and a bit sad too:

I declined a date too (over spring break which is next week) because I have too much work to do Maybe next month...

My SJ worshiper baked me a pie.

I made huge progress with my thesis work (a lightbulb-went-on day)

I hung out with my mom.

My V-day views: I don't care too much about it, but I did spend some sappy F-time looking at cute pics of happily-coupled friends on facebook and feeling a bit sorry for myself! I sort of don't care whether or not I'm in a relationship, but I know I'm missing out too and wish I could be in a good one.

Valentine's day was a replacement day for a school holiday. And there was a test. And the principal specifically warned us against even going close to a nearby girl's school. Yay for unsentimental administration.

I actually don't mind it (maybe because Malaysia's a secular/ Islamic country depending on who you ask so it isn't celebrated as much here). Some people in the school were selling cupcakes up to the days before valentine's, which I kinda wish I had gotten (or someone bought for me). Otherwise, it was an ordinary day with a few songs I like on the radio.

@Pers: You're being wasteful by scattering black roses around. Just hack the school's data bank or whatever it's called, get everyone's e-mail address and mail some of these:

If for some reason your school doesn't contain that sort of data, just hack the school computers and use these to replace the backgrounds. Simple and cheap. As for rallying support, mobs are a little unreliable. Watch out or they might string you upside down and use you as a rose pincushion. You'll have to factor in lack of intelligence as well as stupidity in people.

Ps: I'm calling you Pers because I thought of persimmons. Also, it sounds like purse and looks a little like how you could pronounce parse. Besides, it's beter than calling you face.

How about this idea for wrecking Valentines day. Just call it what it is. Older people can call it " The cheep gift for sex day." Or "You still havin't found someone but I have, and the clock is running out on you day." Much older people can call it "I have been conditioned for 40+ years to buy a valentines gift so here's a flannel nightgown day." And High school students can call it the "I'm popular and loved but you are not day" or the "I'm going to rub it in your face you worthless nerd day" (when I was in high school that's what it was, I can't imagine it has changed much).

Am I being too mean, or is this what V-day is all about? Man, I must be in some sort of nasty sarcastic mood or something. I know what my problem is, I havent spent enough time on the bullshit threads. I haven't killed, banned, and corrupted enough wishes today. Bye, I'm off to the bullshit threads to release a bit of aggression. Wish me luck.

Da Blob, I did forget to mention in my ranting that you did post a beautiful picture. I think that would look good on a corrupted valentines day or, as I prefer, the "I'm popular and loved and you are not day" card. Too bad I am not skilled at photo manipulation, with a little time I bet I could come up with some great corrupted v-day cards.
