Do any of you have features that are very uncommon (physical) from most of the general public?

For example, I have flat helices. The part of my outer ear that is supposed to be rounded is flat instead. This is a quirk that I have only seen on my father's side of the family. I have never seen flat helices on anyone else (maybe ONE Hollywood actress but I never got a good look at her ears, hair in the way always) and although many people think its weird its usually one of the first things I notice, their ears I mean. I've seen some that are partly pinched in one spot but not exactly folded down all the way like mine. I'm not saying there aren't more just I haven't seen them yet.

Also when I took a biology lab the professor basically said I was a freak of nature due to my other quirks. If anyone cares I will list some of those, too. Anyway, much more curious to know what all you guys are dealing with.

What makes your body unique?

I would like to hear your other quirks.

Me too.

I can twist my arm completely, like... turn it 360 degrees and put my hand on a table or something and then twist it back. Lovely party trick.
And I can do lots of different voices and stuff. I think my mouth is slliiiightly uneven and it pisses me off sometimes. Oh and I have flat feet.

Double uvula. Well it looks more like one split down in half.

Bird, I changed my mind about the picture, it's gross. :phear:

Interesting you guys. Arm twisting... A double uvula? I also have slight points to my ears, my brother though has the elf ears (different father, mother remarried after my dad died). LOL @ eyeseecold.

Well, I only had 3 dominant allele traits out of a long list, rest were recessive. Now for the following, this is what I remember the professor saying and I didn't completely pay attention because after the second, "Well, thats weird" I started to get annoyed. He said many things about my bones in particular were very strange. For example, I have an unuaul sternum. Like here is how its supposed to look
sternum.jpg

My sternum is shaped nothing like that. I have a butterfly shaped dip right below the manubrium line..and screw trying to describe it past that, I'd have to directly alter the picture. Mine is also longer and thicker than normal, especially for a female.

I have a broad, squared clavicle and shoulders for a female. My ribs are more barrel shaped and I have a couple extra ribs. He said some of that was weird because I was displaying masculine sex characteristics with my bones but without the presence of excess testosterone. I didn't have the secondary sex characteristics. I store fat correctly so he didn't understand what was going on. Some weird thing with my estrogens? I'm starting to suspect it isn't too unusual because many female gymnasts also have these traits but I'm still ignorant on the whole matter.

My feet are narrow and while I have an excessively large big toe, for a female, my other toes are very small/short and have a very particular shape. (He said they were slightly unusual for a female, who knows)

My dentist said my teeth are "special" - my canines are too far forward so I have a vampire smile, lol.

I have that same feature.

There's an orange dot on my right eye and I have particularly sharp and pointy canines.

I have a tendency for strabismus. Not really. But it looks like it, sometimes. When I was a kid it was commented on often. I think it's just lack of facial symmetry that creates the effect.
