Taking inspiration from walfin's dear diary (yes, I was stalking you walf), I have decided to start a bit of a diary of my own by using Twitter. Hopefully it will make the time go faster at work, provide a bit of an outlet for my weird thoughts while still remaining anonymous unlike facebook. If you want to "follow" me (yeah that's what the cool kids are calling it these days), it's BananaMango123 *EDIT: changed it to BananaMango99.

I'm on there, unanonymous (b_kelleher). Mostly, I use it to just read other people's tweets, I rarely have anything to say. I'll add ya though!

Uh, a new hack now allows integration of forum posts with Twitter. Your Twitter options are in User CP way down the list on the left.

And after that I assume Tweet This appears everywhere. It does everywhere else on the web.

Tweeting is something I just don't get. I have enough of my own thoughts to worry about than follow someone else's. That's just me so nothing personal or anything.

I can't imagine taking the time to twitter, or follow another person's twittering... There's just something so dramatically mundane about the content that I doubt I could deal with it for long...

Granted, I will occasionally browse through the facebook status updates of my friends, which is practically the same thing... but it only amounts to around thirty seconds of time...

When I say mundane, I pretty much mean banal... and when I say banal, I pretty much mean this interpretation...

P.S. I'm sorry for trashing you brave souls advancing the world through being cutting-edge consumers.

The land where a merlion is the country's official
Some people on twitter don't know when to shut up, and I don't really want to remove such people from my twitter because although I don't really wish to know how bloody successful they are, I can't jeopardize my friendliness with other parties who happen to be friends of such noisy people. They twit about EVERY GODAMN THING from the moment they wake up to the moment they sleep. Wtf. I was aware that twitter could be annoying, but I didn't know it was THIS annoying. I only use it to rant and send messages to my friends cos messenger lags my laptop up and I'm too lazy to sms.

So now I just go on to lurk and reply at interesting stuff but for the most part, I'm logged out from that site.

Meh.

A few months ago I was calling Twitter "Twatter." I considered it pretty lame. I originally joined to torment my friends and family by making fun of them, but I soon found myself laughing at every other tweet from some of my favorite people.

Here's the deal:

MySpace is like a personal "LOOK AT ME AND PAY ATTENTION TO ME" website all about you... Very ES. Not my thing. I deleted my MySpace account after joining Twitter.

Facebook, something I used to consider to be much more socially mature than MySpace, has gone the same route, only they do it with all their silly applications, quizzes, and causes. I deleted my Facebook account after joining Twitter.

Twitter seems, to me, like the Force from Star Wars. You can use it for good or bad. The Siths may tweet (and OVER-tweet) that they're on the way to the grocery store ("Who gives a shit?") or that they saw a movie ("And?"). Meanwhile the Jedi may tweet an INCREDIBLY interesting article or hilarious picture (via tweetpic.com or yfrog). ReTweeting other people's posts is also like a quote you'd find here on the forum (an "RT"). It can be very fun.

I guess it's based on perspective. As probably are someone's taste in MySpace or Facebook.

But Twitter doesn't put so much emphasis on photos of yourself or what your silly interests are. Let's be honest; when was the last time you became friends with a random person on Facebook or MySpace because you actually clicked on a link to other people with an interest in your favorite band or stupid television show?

I may be leaving out some things that draw me to Twitter because this post is already pretty long. If you have any questions about it, ask. But of the 3 major "social networking" sites out there, I feel that Twitter fits the needs of an INTP most appropriately.

As I sometimes do when I'm angry, I take to the electronic equivelent to throwing something across the room and breaking it: deleting things. After having an argument last week, I deleted my Twitter account, DaggerByte. Practicing my e-theatrics, no doubt. But no worries (as if you were). I'll probably be back. Unlike MySpace or Facebook.

But for now, you can follow my dog, Wickәt, who is a total tweetskeeter @WickeTerror.
