If you're an ENTP, then you're Ne-Ti.

It explains why you want to know so much about Ti.
Now for the complicated bit:
INTP = Ti-Ne. Our conscious thought process starts with a Ti logical judgement about almost anything. This feeds into Ne, to produce possible explanations, using observations from the real world. However, all we then have is a
possible explanation. We don't yet have a clue if it's right or wrong. So we feed out possible explanations back into Ti, to see if they make sense. Then we see other Ti logical conclusions about them, and we then pull in more facts from the real world, to form another possible explanation. We hypothesise using external data, and look for inconsistences, continually, until Ti comes back with "nothing more to correct here". Then we don't need Ne, and leave the loop.
Takes a long time. But you end up with something that has to be totally logical. Consequently, if the external data you used to form your explanations, is reflective of the system in general, then you have a totally logical system that is built on axioms that are true for the system you are examining. Consequently, it's like a mathematical theorem that applies to your situation. Has to be right, and is dead on, balls accurate. Doesn't work every time. But when it does, it's pretty damn sweet.
