Life is good friend. I've been rather lazy though and havin't been attending class. Was socializing with albanian gangsters who carried guns and played me for $100 dollars. I'm relatively into shamanism & "consciousness" & have discussed it a few times here, didn't really hit off though. Most are into exact sciences, which are also interesting but you really shouldnt be so quick to blow off "consciousness" stuff.

I'm relatively into shamanism & "consciousness" & have discussed it a few times here, didn't really hit off though. Most are into exact sciences, which are also interesting but you really shouldnt be so quick to blow off "consciousness" stuff.

consciousness and shamanism are too of my major interests. it's often discussed in the spirituality and mysticism forum on the shroomery which is my main forum.

i've discussed spirtuality and other metaphysical concepts in the past but only got strict rational logical bullshit replies, hence why this forum is boring.

Heh, if you are actually serious about what you write (and that is not completely impossible, there are many wierdos in the world), then I would not mind moving a bit further with the opportunity that you have opened, for a 'debate', where rationality and logic will not be the building blocks of arguments. The idea is to allow you to direct the debate in a way so that discussions will become interesting.

I visited the shroomery and read a bit about hell, demons and shamanism. Apparently some books are suggested as good read in order to get a better grasp of shamanism, and you likely know these texts or what all of this is about. So: What is it about Shamanism that appeals to you, and what are the truths that shamanism gives you?
(and also, please note that I will not be hurt if my way of approaching shamanism is pointed out as misguided; I honestly don't know much if anything about this topic)

i appreciate your thoughtful reply. shamanism appeals to me because it's totally nature based and is very magical. i'm not so much into shamanism anymore as a i am into astral projection and lucid dreaming, i don't like the idea of going to another for wisdom when i have access to the collective unconscious through my dreams. the truths that shamanism gives me is that plants are indeed conscious and teachers when they are ingested.

i find that with this forum people are too likely to act "INTP". i know for me personally when i was a superficial teenager first posting on this forum on my old account i acted as i believed an INTP would act.

Well, why not a fresh challenge as long as he keeps within basic rules, he's can't be proven a troll, but rather some refreshing fun? (All troll's are possibly a challenge as long as they don't disrupt.) Some people thought Da Blob and Adymus were disruptions apparently. I kick myself for not noticing and addressing that ... if that's what happened.
