had my drug test today for my presumptive new job. it's been just under a month now since ive smoked , really hope i pass...

im hoping my caffeine addiction will help. i have drunk 2-4 cups of black/green tea and/or coffee every day for the past i dunno how long...

sorta beating myself up though, because i was so busy reading and posting here that i wasn't monitoring my water intake all day. when i got to the place, i couldn't even get out enough urine to meet the required amount.

they still took it though. but now im concerned that, because the sample wasn't diluted enough, something might show up...

i actually start training before they tell me the results. going to be super awkward if they let me go 3-4 days into training...*crosses fingers*

sorry 'bout that. it's not like i have any will power really, i was just out of a job for a little bit so couldn't keep buying. but i like my life the way it is now. and im overwhelmingly a loner, i just talk to my family in the evenings for a bit, so no one to peer pressure me...

best way to do it might be to score a job where they do random drug testing, then you have a solid reason not to...that is what they do at this new place i'm going to be at if i don't fail that test.

this image comes from messier 16 or the eagle nebula, which has a few other peculiar looking figures as well. My first impression was that it looked like an exalted roman statue with the torso pointed outwards, right hand held close to the face. I searched online for others' thoughts and most I encountered say it looks like a fairy.

But there was another person who took it even further. She made a connection between the anthropomorphic figure and Salvador Dali's "body drawer" collection, particularly a sketch he made. I found LaVey's writing and presence endearing even. Perhaps he was a fraud who only sought to make money, or a master manipulator who preyed on the youth who had no guidance, nevertheless it seemed half the values presented in the books were humanistic and focused on raising the dignity of the individual. With the power of subversion it's no wonder how the church caused so much panic and hysteria.

I don't speak for other areas of satanism however.

So, I spent the past two hours walking around catching Pokemon. I was really looking for an Eevee that I could metaphorically cuddle but no luck >=(.

Got 26 pokemon but not a single Eevee >.<. Also, I learnt how slow of a walker I am as I only walked 4 km during those 2 hours(according to the game anyway), though it was half dancing half walking >.>, meh. It was surprisingly fun...

I just want to take the time to write about something positive that occurred to me today. My aunt and uncle and cousins came for brunch and then we went to a local brewery. I had a genuinely good time with them without a whole lot of self-consciousness. I really felt like I was part of the group and had a certain degree of respect, although I still don't have my life in order to the extent to which I would feel confident about expressing things about my personal desires and drives. But let's get back to being positive. I was able to make jokes that they appreciated and was able to share thoughts they appreciated, even if they had a controversial element to them. Maybe the world isn't so bad after all. I feel comfortable being part of it.
