I think my muse was taken the wrong way. I've come to the conclusion that society, at large, will treat people as male or female (I believe their are no exceptions). This is my conclusion, so what is there to complain about? Perhaps I do find it sad, but I also find it true.
Gender and sex are topics I'm greatly interested in and have been for a while. How can you believe I will simply stop talking about if you answer me and provoke me to speak? If you find what I consider a thought-provoking topic a boring tangent that doesn't belong in this thread, I find it acceptable to say, "Please stop taking the thread off topic". And I will leave, as I've intended to do. But replies otherwise will provoke me, either from curiosity or because I was not clear.
But there was a reason I got on the topic in the first place. Most of time people think I'm male, which is perfectly fine. In the case of this thread it seemed awkward. No offense to Lor, but I clarified my sex so as the pairing didn't seem deviant or "slashy". In a place such as the US, where gay marriage isn't legal in most states, not exactly widely accepted, it would seem a statement to open a humorous thread with a gay marriage (if not qualified somehow as joking).
I assume Lor meant to make a straight pairing. The misunderstanding is kind of humorous, but a misunderstanding all the same.
The term "lighthearted" is not in my dictionary.
