I saw this thread and just couldn't resist (but, no, I didn't lose the Game, I was thinking about somebody else losing the Game, not the Game itself!).

I can imagine the day when we first make contact with intelligent extraterrestrial life, diplomats from each side will approach each other, their meeting being broadcast live across two civilisations, and whoever speaks first, their words shall be literally or equivalent to "You just lost the-" before the other diplomat shoots him/her/it.

First contact diplomats are always armed for just such an eventuality.
