Suddenly we have an explicitly clear reason why certain kinds of people are drawn to this particular forum... It does cater to curiosity and tranquility in particularly unique way. Also highlights the trolling factor in a way...

* * * * *

How funny, Cavalierose - you and I are 50% of the eaters on the forum! :p

Beyond enjoying food a lot, I have to admit - if something's getting in the way of enjoying my meals and sustaining myself, you'd best believe there isn't much hope of retaining tranquility either...

Just sayin'. Loss of one tends to inherently capsize the other...

most important (in a particular order):
1. Curiosity
2. Independence
3. Idealism
4. tie: Vengeance/Romance

Ideally vengeance would be in the bottom four, but on some level I know it's important to me. Otherwise I wouldn't have to invest so much effort to repress it as I do. In certain theoretical situations I could see it consume me.

Romance is important (not of the traditional roses + bad Hollywood plot sort), because if the type of connection I'm hoping for is actually possible, then I really don't want to miss out. However in this category I'm including several types of exceedingly strong bonds that need neither be sexual nor exclusive.

least important (in no particular order):
1. Status
2. Order
3. Saving
4. Power

Status and power can be nice, but if you're truly independent you won't need them.

What trait would be considered the ability to defend what is one's own, and to protect the values that one has (ex. one's independence)?

Wouldn't that depend on whether one is being attacked versus being supported?

I'm asking because I wasn't sure that the defence of independence was included in the trait or not. I wanted to make sure what criteria could be associated with the trait before choosing.

gee i broke the mold again - i did not select curiosity because that goes without saying.... :/ - wooops... oh well - can I ask for a different poll ? In truth I was not clear on any of my choices other than Independence... the rest seem to trivially portrayed for the complexity with which I interpret my life; ergo, the desire for independence..
