Not sure if this has been posted before. It's A test for your ability to systemize and feel empathy. i found it rather interesting, but my results for empathy were rather troubling (although it might just be an INTP thing).

for Systemizing i got 22 (which is low for an "average" male, it says)
for Empathy i got 16 (where someone with aspergers scored 20, on average)
for Autism spectrum i got 22 (average man 17, average asperger 32+)
for Reading eyes, i got 28 (which is well within the average.)

I got 20 on the Autism one, and didn't do the others because I don't like some of the questions (like that one about often making resolutions but not sticking to them - what does disagreement mean? That you make resolutions and stick to them or that you make no resolutions?)

Tried as well as I could, felt like i was really good with systemizing. But I'm not sure wether this test proves anything.

I got a 51. It's in the 51-80 range, of Very High.

I got high empathy of 39... compared to how i thought i'd score. I am good at seeing ppl's feelings and picking up on them.

In autism i got a 27. I thought myself as decently good with autistic qualities. so fits well imo.

In the face onme i scored 22. i find that it was hard to understand some of the words of the options. But im not particular good at it, not really bad tho.

I got off my arse and did systemising, and got 20, which is just above "low". I don't tend to systemise things. I score 21 in empathy, which makes me just off an aspie, and 26 in the eyes one, which is normal.

i tend to see emotion from faces alone sorta poorly. Wish i was better at it...at first i looked at it and wondered if i would get any of these right without guessing.

After 5 faces i got abit better at it though. And seemed to read what they thought better

I scored a 6 in empathy and a 28 in the eyes.

"Love and the INTP" 3(or is it 4?)->5

Your score: 16
0 - 32 = low (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 20)
It's very general, just because I'm un-apathetic doesn’t mean I don't understand.

I gave up on the eye test

I always try to remain as devoid of any emotions as possible and simply see things as they are. Never heard the term amoral before, but it fits perfectly for the way I strive to be. I'm not quite completely amoral, but I am close.

I got 35 on systemizing, a bit higher than your average man. I've almost got Aspergers. :P

14 for empathy. That's worse than I thought!

22 for autism spectrum.

11 on empathy, 58 on systemizing, 25 on autism, 31 on eyes test. Surprised myself on the eyes test, as I thought I would get lower than that.

i got a high empathy it seems. I think it's helped the time i went on this boarding school. generally wasnt so great with people though.. improved alot last couple years.

The test doesnt say u definitively are aspergic.. if you're in the range does it? because I'm quite sure im not suffering from it :D

INTP's seem, predictably, bad at empathising, which is curious as we've all seemed to be in average range for seeing emotions in peoples eyes. i suppose it might just be more that we can tell what someone is feeling, but aren't as capable of feeling it along with them.

One description of an INTP I read said INTPs are detached from their emotions, but are interested in them. In the way they effect others and such. In that case, being able to identify emotions but not feel along side them makes perfect sense.

That and it's hard to find the right words to express that empathy, even if they want to. However, I think INTPs could be good at empathizing once they take the time to learn the "system".

33 systematizing (average-ish)
43 empathy (slightly higher than average)
26 autism (a little above average)
28 eyes (nearly above average)

Apparently, I'm mostly average, so I'm the most abnormal person here. *-*

I really don't think I'm that bad an empathiser. Hmmm. Seems Aphasia has empathy to spare.

I didn't think I was a bad empathiser, either. Unless I'm such a bad empathiser that I don't get what it is.

I'm beginning to think that the second option pertains to me.

I have this idea of what empathy is and I think I "get it", but I don't. That's rather scary. That's like discovering there's a whole light spectrum you thought you were seeing your entire life, but actually it's just the outline sketch of what everyone else is seeing in full lush glorious colour.

I'm really quite sobered. For the first time I'm getting a visceral hint of the actual gulf between my perceptions and those of those around me.

But if I have no empathy then why do other people's moods have such an impact on me?

shadow Fe maybe? i think the biggest "feeling" i get from other peoples emotions is discomfort though. i feel awkward and wish they would stop emoting all over me.

Eh, that's pretty much what I expected. I thought I would get lower on systemizing though...

If I could, I would. :1 Their definition of empathy seems to be a little skewed towards outgoing-ness, actually so it's probably not that accurate. (I'm quite extroverted, since I'm in one extreme of my personality currently)

Systemising - 32 (average. most women score about 24 and most men score about 30)
Empathy - 7 (low. most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 20)
Autism - 38 (very high. most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 35)
Eyes - 32 (A typical score is in the range 22-30. If you scored over 30,
you are very accurate at decoding a person's facial expressions
around their eyes.)

Hmm I didn't expect to get that low in empathy. :phear: I also find it interesting that I got very low in empathy but very high in the eyes test. I thought those two things were supposed to be connected or something.

yay tests!
systemizsing (asperger): 29 above average for my gender but on average for a male.
i find it facinating that women drop off when the scores get high. anyone got backup info on this?
empathy (autism) 12! oh my god! im autisic, nah, it said they score 20, lol. at least i dont have to deal with anyones problems.
austism specturm: 21 average for women is 15 and male 17.

waaaa, im not an austisic male damnit!

If you scored over 30,
you are very accurate at decoding a person's facial expressions
around their eyes.)

nah. eyes: you recognise it. empathy: it recognisies you.

actually i thought the picture at the end of each test would be incomplete. they need more/better questions, i didn't feel properly anaylised.

Empathy - 55 (F avg 45)
Autism - 17 (F avg 22)
Eyes - 31 (F avg. 24)

I thought the eyes test was interesting. The 5 or so that I missed were the ones that I struggled deciding on.

Im not that bad at empathy I think, but its mostly because I dont really care about it I think. Maybe thats the same as being 'bad' at it, but I think I can be empathic if needed.

Autism Spectrum 29 (above average)
Empathy 24 (low)

I was "just" off the asperger's in about every area but mind eye where I did poorly. I was very surprised I did so poorly in empathy. I always thought I was fairly good in that area. My systemizing seemed a bit too high as well... I'm wondering if I took the test poorly.

Average for all tests, except I haven't done the empathy test yet.

The eyes one I got only one wrong in the first 16 (which was about the time I was growing bored with the test) and it's 4:30am. If I would have slowed down on the last 20 I probably could have gotten even higher (final score = 26). I'm very surprised at how I did.

Lost, after wandering irresponsibly away from the
Systemising: 46 -- above average
Empathy: 33 -- lowest score that's ranked as 'average'. I use my Fe good. ;)
Autism Spectrum: 10 -- low. (Female average 15) Kind of surprising, considering the autism gene is actually in my family.
Eyes: 26 -- slap-bang in the middle of averageville.

I'm surprised so many of us seem to get low Systemizing Quotient scores. Those seemed like very INTP traits. Don't most of you want to know the name of the plant you are looking at or how a machine works? I figured everybody wanted to know the details of an important purchase such as engine power on their car and HDD capacities on their computer.

Anyway:

Systemizing Quotient 47 (Above Average)

Empathy Quotient 38 (Low) <---I refuse to believe this one. A lot of those questions involved emotional intelligence more than empathy. Once I know somebody is sad I feel for them. I just have trouble figuring it out at first is all. :o

Autism Spectrum Quotient 17 (Average) Woot \o/

Mind in the Eyes 27 (Average) That one was really hard.
