is it still okay to ask to change our name?

The reason why I ask in this thread is because I think a while back I may have PM'd someone about it but didn't hear back, so figured maybe it isn't allowed anymore unless we have a better reason than 'my name is bad and I should feel bad'.

Anyway, it's not a big deal, but just wondering.

whoops missed the memo. I'll just return to wallow in my supreme lack of name creativity then. :) Thanks for answering.

It's a time investment issue, I'd think. I had another name I liked "Entendre" with the subtitle "I have no double" That was a name I chose for a "rant" forum where I thought I was still just having fun and had yet to learn that a lot of "rant ravers" actually take themselves seriously. Now I might switch forums but I keep the same name because they don't scare me. But then I didn't spell "koan" wrong. And it doesn't mean anything other than you'd be more enlightened if you don't answer me. hehe

Hey, my name is spelled incorrectly too. Intentionally, so does that mean it is actually spelled correctly?

I don't like my name, but I've gotten used to it and just ignore it. I don't post here often enough to fret over it.

That DID happen after the official policy against name changes, amirite?

Not that I'm lobbying for a change in policy (not everyone can come up with something as good as THD on their first try :D), but expressing curiosity about an outlier (or at least a perceived outlier).

Pretty sure there have only been two exceptions between 2011 and now. That would be a very small and infrequent outlier(2/yr avg).
