or an ENTP or an ISTP.

Well, for a person with INTP personality, I noticed that I am in tuned with others emotions and my inter-personal skills are more developed than most introverts.

occasionally, when im really tired and I get to be around others that im quite fond of, i feel energetic again.

I've been taking personality test, understanding my self and my most common result ends with an INTP but occasionally, it would change to ISTP, ENFJ or ENFP.

I still think im an introvert cause of my habits and that there are times I choose not to engage with others.

im confused... but i hope i didnt make an ass out of my self...

Your energy levels when alone and with others would dictate introversion and extraversion. The issue is only loosely connected with how adept you are around friends or how often you go out.

well, I dont go out often. My social life is at minimal hahahahaha! the only time I ever go out is if im going to work or uni.

or if i have other business to do, If I go shopping, I prefer to do it alone.

my energy level varies though =/

at work people says that im usually happy, idk i just get along with people easily and when im chatting with em, im always polite, all smiles and making my cynical and sarcastic jokes.

My experiences contradict this principle that's been taken for granted.

What I mean is that I've observed that introverted people with S or F, but especially SF, are more energized around others, which negates the bold statement as a rule of thumb.

It's more about concern towards or relevance to the external circumstances, between an Extravert or Introvert, one would seem cold to the other and the other would seem superficial.

I think it depends on what you are doing while you are alone contra with people. There are things such as watching tv-shows or movies which creates the feeling of being in company of people or being outside.

I'd go along with that. I've pegged the guy who sits next to me at work as an ISFJ, and he seems to be able to mix it up with just about anybody in a way that I can only dream about.

I have an online friend that I have known for several years now and he types ENTP.

He is one of the people I have met that seems to have the most similar thinking patterns as me, evidenced in the way he comes to his long winded conclusions during the many debates I have read that he has with others and the way his logic seems to make strange leaps and bounds that others find hard to wrap their minds around because of the leaps and bounds but usually makes perfect sense to me how he got there and why it makes sense even when I do not agree. He is one of the few people I have ever met that I can give my uncensored flow of thoughts to, often for the purpose of correcting him on this or that, the uncensored flow of almost nonsense to the average observer, without trying to edit for any clarity but just letting it weave around, and he gets every bit of my logic on it all and also admits occasionally that I saw right through the holes he was making that he didn't, and others only saw that there were holes but weren't hitting what they were nearly as well.

What I was getting to though, I was looking at his masses of pictures on facebook a while back and I could find barely one with less than five people in it, usually more people.

Whereas my minimal amount tend to feature one or two people on average.

I thought that was interesting. Considering the Introvert/Extravert thing. As a sort of looking from the outside thing.

Also, I don't actually converse with this person nearly as much as he converses with others.

Somehow all of this seemed relevant to the topic when I started writing it. I am not sure now.

There are a lot of people in his pictures. And he thinks the same way as me, as far as how it flows when he gets going, only he does it really loudly and hardheadedly.

I agree as well. My ISFJ mom will simply not shut up when she's around people, you'd think she snorted something. The introversion shows in other ways; she sounds scripted in a way that shows she considers everything she says, and the only reason she has people to be a crackhead around is because they usually call her. The fact she got so energized made me think she was an extrovert, in fact.
