I work in fast-food. Worst day would be when someone throws water into the fryer.

Heh...honestly?

Well, I could be captured by a terrorist organization, kept in depraved conditions somewhere and tortured. Could have my head cut off with a chainsaw.

Could have parts of my body blown apart.

Could get shot and killed by some crazy asshole that thinks they are doing God's work by killing people that don't believe in their religion.

...think that's the gist.

Worst what could happen?
I go to jail to serve life sentence while being falsely accused and defamed, while being confined in a sensory deprivation/torture enviroment without anything to focus on.
There are things that I would most likely find worse after experiencing the above.

Something similar happened at the chemical plant that i work at in the 80's, the cat cracker exploded. The cat cracker plays an essential role of converting crude oil into usable fuels by splitting molecules. When this exploded in the 80's it destoryed the entire town and measured a 7.4 earthquake on the richter scale.

This happened in Mexico, I read that this happened from a guy smoking in an undesignated smoking area. Not saying that the potential isn't there for something like this to happen here in the U.S, but its much less likely to happen. But, There's no OSHA in Mexico, its probably very unregulated in many aspects and their HSSE standards would probably be considered unacceptable here.

It's not that the students are necessarily tired, it's just that they are not at all interested in learning something they've been taught poorly for so long. They will simply shutdown and refuse to co-operate, sometimes quite rudely too. If this happens in my classes, I am not allowed to do anything...

I could just about handle a full day of it, but it would be really, really, really boring.

A speaker could fall over and smash through a second story window and kill a pedestrian.

Yesterday, it just bounced off the window.

I already had that day. It was the day a newspaper editor in a rush accidentally cut and pasted a page from our bureau's address book instead of a paragraph from a story she was editing, having them stacked up behind each other on her computer screen because she'd needed to call one of us with a question while working on a story. We ended up running the unlisted phone numbers of several reporters and a dozen news sources, pasted enigmatically into the text of a city council meeting. It included notations like "If (so and so) is not home, call the bar at the Seven Seas." Went out to 70,000 subscribers....
